Question about Sony NW-E107 MP3 Player

Adding a second group of songs

I have only put one set of songs on my Sony, then I lost the usb cable. I have purchased another, but cannot get the next group to play that I downloaded. It does show the set as downloaded on my computer screen, but when I advance to the end of the first group on the acutal device, it says new group, when I advance past that, it just goes to the first song of the original set. Is there some special trick I am missing to get it to go to the second group of songs I downloaded?

Call Sony to get the proprietary cable for that device - happens with a lot of mp3 players.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I used my USB connection to my psp 3000 then i added 5 pictures and 2 songs. When i put it off the pc said error. Then when i looked at games it all disappeared even my pics songs and the gen-c

Run Gen-C again.
This may have been caused by very violent unpluging of the usb cable.
Connect it to your PC again and see if there actualy are any songs and pics there.

I want to download an app to download songs and ringtones

Method 1:
Transfer the song(s) you want to set as ringtones onto the microSD card either by connecting to pc via USB or using an SD adapter. Next, Tap on the Music Player, open the music list, press the menu button and select PLAY ALL, this will scan your SD card for music/audio files. Once all your songs have been added to the list, select the song you want to set as ringtone and click MENU key, choose SET AS RINGTONE and that will take you to the RIngtone Trimmer, make the ringtone 30 seconds or less, select Trim and you're done.

Method 2:

Root your HTC Hero, create a directory in your C: drive and name it HeroRIngtones, HTC, or whatever and put there all the ringtones you want to be added (30 seconds or less), then open Command Prompt; make sure your device is connected and already visible. Run the following command "adb push directoryname/myringtone.mp3 /system/media/audio/ringtones" and press enter. Do same procedure for all the audio files you want to set as ringtones.

Method 2 is not available for non-root users.

The 2.0 Sony USB Cable for our icd-p320 digital voice recorder has been lost. Where can we purchase another one?

What you need is a USB A to USB mini A cable. You can purchase one at Sony's website for $11.95 Click Here or look around in any Staples, Office Depot, or cell phone store like Verizon who also have them. I hope this helps and good luck!

Yes you can.
You can remove the memory card from the phone, purchase a memory card reader that plugs to your USB on you pc. Put your memory card on th reader, then your memory card will show as an additional drive on my computer then you can tranfer files there on.
