Hi Craig Reynolds, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Hard to tell anything without the make and model numbers.
As for removing a seized on wheel if comes to it a person that is skilled with a gas cutting torch can remove it; although, it most likely will not useable afterwords.

What would be the biggest tyres you can put on 17 inch being standard suspension.

it depends on the hight of the truck for height , but when you want to put really wide tires on you can get spacers , I think the most depending on what truck you have is prob 12 in just guessing though

Dimension of wheel cover

Have a look at your tyres (tires, you may be American).
You should find some numbers and letters on the sidewall which are the measurements for the tires/tyres and hub.

Usually they are like this:
195/65 R15

The number after the R is the size of the hub in inches for your tyres/tires. This is the number you need for the wheel covers.

:-) Cheers!

Just inflated tyres for first time since getting car & I am now getting a tyre pressure warning message that tells me that they need initialised - please help

Hi, need you put normal air in a gas station? If you did then that could be a problem. Since new cars uses nitrogen in the tires. Try that first. You need to go to the dealer for that.

If you are having trouble removing the brake drum meaning it wont just slide off the hub using a rocking and pulling motion then try the following.

  1. Remove the rubber plug from the top of the support plate.
  2. Rotate the automatic shoe adjuster shoe with an upward motion using a medium sizzed flat tipped tool.
  3. Remove the bearing dust cap with a screwdriver or pry bar.
  4. Remove the cotter pin, nut retainer, nut, washer and bearing/hub assembly from the spindle.
Hope this helps.

26 inch wheel becomes 29 inches when you add on tyre depth ( 1.5 * 2 )
29 x Pi is 91 inches
Computer setting should be 91.2 inch or 2316 mm

17in alloys wheels makes strange sound

what design are they, two thing could be doing it, if the obviouse touching has already been investigated, one is the design, if the spokes/hub sits out further than the rim than the outer of the rim they could be catching the wind and making some freaky noises, or if the center dishes in then maybe they are "loud" tyres by that i mean do the tyres have wide grooves, directional etc, high performance tyres are in principle very noisy. hope this has been handy.

Yamaha sr 125 how much air should i pump to rear and front tyres

You are asking a sensible question and obviously are concerned and rightly so for your safety and others plus tyre wea.
Good on you!
However it depends on load, circumstances, conditions and the type of tyres/compound you have.
So as a rule of thumb, 28/30 front normal conditions rider only short journeys, 30/32 rear normal 2 riders +- 2psi for loads and long runs.
Hope this helps, press the Blue button please to rate my FREE! efforts, Thank You!
