Question about Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies
I have tried Clear Modes / 1 / 0 / 7 / Clear / Stop, but I think that's out of sequence. I can't find the solution in any of the Tech Manuals I have. When we reconnected the unit to show a potential buyer, we had two wires reversed on the box on the back, where the rip is located. The LCD screen was black until we switched the wires (The IKON tech had these marked 41b and 41c, but it's actually 416 and 415). When we flopped the wires, the screen worked, but it threw this code. Any ideas, please? Thanks!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Actually the code is for fuser. Here you go.
To get in the service mode is reset 107 hold clear button.
To clear out the code go into service mode turn off and on machince. If that does not work. The solution is below. Hope this helps.
Fusing temperature warm-up error
The fusing temperature does not reach
the fusing standby temperature of 45oC
(113oF) within 9 seconds for the B135
(35 cpm) 14 seconds for the B138 (45
cpm) after switching on the main power
or closing the front cover, or 40
seconds after reaching 50oC the fusing
roller does not reach warm-up
• Fusing lamp defective
• Poor fusing unit connector
• Thermistor warped or broken
• Thermostat has tripped
• BICU defective
• Power supply board defective

this is priveledged information and kept away from non service personnel to protect both you and the device from unqualified access and possible damage.
if you have an issue that requires entering service mode please call for a ricoh tech this ensures that you are protecting the investment you have made in purchasing a ricoh device.

Solved the problem by switch on press #P Then * then C then * then 14 This will then ask if to execute the action to clear the service code H5-01.
Will need to ensure that the fuser unit is not causing a blockage on the feed out path as this code is caused by 5 errors / misfeeds in the Fuser unit.
