Generally there are many hidden ,recent, temp etc. files are occupied automatically. So, try to format it by using *#7370# or by selecting "Restore All" in the setting of phone.Good luck.
It sounds to me like you have maxed your memory, so when you put on new files it deletes older ones.
Instead of using HTC sync for file loading just use Mass Storage and select memory card on your pc/laptop to upload files to any folder you wish. Make a "music" folder on your Sdcard and it will make things so much easier.
Also if you use the "Mass Storage" method your pc/laptop will tell you if your memory is full or nearly full.
When you plug in the USB cable into the phone use the connect to pc option instead of HTC sync.
when saying memory full that does no mean the text messages memory is full it means the phone's memory is full, the messages are saved on you sim card so try deleting some app on you phone
Your Inbox Only support 200 sms... And when I say Inbox it includes your My folder as well... So you see 197+ 26 beyond your range... Delete Data from my Folder.... Problem solved.
I had the same thing with my KF510 but I don't know if it will be the same with your phone. When you connect the phone via the USB cable you will see two removable drives in My Computer ( I have Windows XP) one is the phones internal memory the other is the memory stick.
Drag and drop the MP3 files onto the memory stick - BUT - make sure you drag the files onto a folder in the drive not just onto the drive icon as if they are not in a folder ( on mine the folder is called Sounds) the phone won't find them.
To see the folders on the drive icon just double click the icon or right click - explore.
Hope this helps you.
