You may have to contact manufacturer. Some safes do not change. If you need to find combo for Sentry safe you'll find a sticker with numbers by the hinge. You'll need to send ownership affidavit (from their website) with this number and a fee and they'll send you the combo code for this unit.

Hi,
a 6ya Repairman can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Repairman (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How reset combination lock

1. Open the lock with the factory preset combination of 0005.
2. Find the tab on the end of the part of the locking mechanism that has the numbers.
Combination Reset Tab
3. Flip the tab up (with the combination set to the open combination). When you flip the tab up, you disengage the number dials from the tumblers, so that you can reset the combination without changing the position of the tumblers.
4. Change the combination to the desired combination.
5. Flip the tab back down. The dials are now re-engaged with the tumblers.

Is it possible to reset a Manifoil MkIV combination lock without having to send it away to a specialist?

Hi, by reset, do you mean you have the combination but want to change it?
If so, then you need the special combination change key that came with the safe and the instruction manual (there are copies of the manual online if you don't have that)

If the door is open, but you don't have the combination, there is a technique for finding the combination.

Changing the combination

These sentry safes dial combinations are not built to be changed as they have no key change hole. Switching the order of the tumblers could be done by a trained locksmith. I would suggest buying the electronic sentry safes as these safes can be reprogramed.

Erased the code

FOR YOUR SECURITY THE
COMBINATION MUST BE CHANGED
WHEN THE LOCK IS INSTALLED.
The door must be open.
On models with the passage feature, make
sure the passage feature is disengaged: turn
knob or key should be in vertical
position (A) (see figure 14-1).
1. Insert the DF-59 control key (B) into the
combination change plug assembly (C)
and unscrew the cylinder by turning the
key counterclockwise. Remove the combination
change plug to gain access to
the combination change sleeve (see figure
14-1).
2. Turn the outside knob once clockwise
(all the way, until it stops) then release.
The latch should not retract (see figure
14-4).
3. Enter the existing combination. On new
installations, use the factory-set combination:
depress 2 and 4 simultaneously,
(release), then 3 (release). You should
feel a slight click as each button is
depressed.
4. Insert the spanner wrench as shown in
Figure 14-2 to engage the combination
change sleeve (A). Gently turn the
spanner wrench clockwise to the stop
position (a slight click should be felt),
then turn the spanner wrench counterclockwise
to the stop position (A) (see figure
14-3). Remove the spanner wrench.
5. Turn the outside knob once clockwise all
the way until it stops, then release. The
latch should not retract (see figure 14-4).
6. Choose your new combination, write it
on page 26, then enter the new combination
— depress buttons care-fully
(a slight click should be felt as

All you have to do is press program & type in the factory code 2 times & that will erase the number you created.

Then to add a new combination all you have to do is: press program followed by 5 new numbers. Then to see if they new number works, just type in the new combination & the green light should come on & you have 4 seconds to turn the handle
