Usually, replacement pump will come with wiring instructions. If dumbo lost them, might go to friendly parts store and ask to look at chart in another one, or simply look at wiring diagram in your shop manual.

Need to replace water pump on nissan 1997 quest

Not sure why all other parts removed? Locate the water pump by following the lower radiator hose to the motor...the connection is part of the water pump housing...Also look at the replacement water pump to see what few bolts need to be removed to switch the pump. Be sure to use a water pump gasket sealer when applying the new water pump gasket...coat both sides as this also helps to hold in place while re-assembling. Reconnect all hoses and clamps...install the belt before testing...Talk with your local parts store also...the water pump usually comes with a replacement diagrahm too. Hope this helps.

I have a 1997 nissan quest xe and it runs pretty good in the morning when the motor is cold, but as soon as it warms up it starts to spit and sputter and sounds like it is fixing to die. We have changed...

When your engine is cold it runs in open loop, and bypasses the oxygen sensor. When warm it goes into closed loop, with the oxygen sensor controlling the fuel mixture. Replace the sensor.

Where is the fuel pump for 1995 nissan altima located

The fuel pump for these is in the fuel tank. Lift up the rear seat and you will find an acess panel with 4 screws and some wires going through it. From there, gently remove the wiring harness and fuel lines. Take a screw driver abd a hammer and lightly tap the ring to the left(to unscrew) changing positions as to not put to much pressure on one area.

My 97 nissan quest cranks but wont start up. took it to a mech and they said it could be a wire and someone else said it could be athe fuel pump. what could be wrong with it?

many things can cause that problem. 1st thing to do is change your plugs, wires, cap and rotor(if equipped). then try your coil pack. if that doesnt work it could be your fuel pump

Hard to start any time of the day for 1994 Nissan Quest XE.

turn your key on, DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL and start, good luck. Pumping the pedal doesn't do a thing for fuel injection. In thre days of carburetors and you had control of your own property, Pumping did a couple of things. It set the choke and added more fuel. But that was yesterday and yesterday's gone.
