How do I navigate through my kendle books on device and in the cloud?

To download content from the Cloud:
1.From Home, tap a Kindle content library (for example, Books) in the top navigation, and then tap the Cloud tab to view Kindle content not downloaded to your Kindle device.
2.Tap your content type to download the title to your device.
3.Tap the Device tab to view your Kindle content.

You can clear your memory reset to default in settings.
your Kindle books are all on Amazon. When you get a new one all the books are on the cloud, you select device to move them from cloud to the new device as you choose to read.
The advantage of cloud is it will always be there so you can reread if you choose. After reading on device I remove from device.

contact Amazon. go to Amazon.com, you will see my account at top of page. when you place cursor on that it will display topics. click on "manage devices and content". It will display a sign on box. When you get to the next page. Click on devices. It will list what you have. Click on the box under your device It says device actions. Click Deregister. Fill in the info. I had to deregiste one of mine but I contacted customer service direct. Then replace it with a new one. If your books are not listed contact Aamazon customer service for help in recovering your books. I now have a paperwhite that I love.

1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
2. From Your Content, select the Actions button next to the title you want to return, and then select Return for Refund.
3. In the pop-up window, select Return for Refund.

Books you purchase will be listed in your Amazon Kindle library, also known as the Cloud. If you have a touch screen Kindle, on the home page you will see the *Device* and *Cloud* options. Touch the Cloud option and it will display all the books in your Kindle library.

To download a book to your device you must be connected to wi-fi or 3G if your device has that option (Whisper synch). Once connected, all you have to do is touch the book you want to download to your device and it will automatically be downloaded. Most books take well less than a minute do download.

Yes, What Robert Moore1 said. Long touch on the book on the home page(s) and then select *Remove from device* .

Note: Adding a book to Kindle Paperwhite doesn't remove it from your Cloud. Your Cloud is your library. Only a copy of a book is downloaded to your Kindle. If you have another device such as an Android with the Kindle App installed you can still download the same book from the Cloud because it's always there.

On the Homescreen you will see an item next to *cloud* called *device* Any downloaded books will be listed there if they are not on the homescreen. *Cloud* is your library of books on the Kindle server. If you want a book from the cloud just touch it while you have a 3G or WiFi connection and it will download and then be listed on *Device*. It will also still be listed in the cloud as your books always stay on the cloud regardless.

Just touch the book and it should open for you.

The paperwhite has Cloud(at top next to device) click the cloud to see if your books may be there. If so just tap each book and it will download to your device. If this does not work contact Kindle support. Sign in to account online. At top far right is support(click) on next page to left is a quick fix box. Tap contact us and fill in the requested info. You then have choice to send email, call on phone, video chat. I have used it often. It's free and they have all the answers.
