Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I identify bugs found in rice?

My inclination would be to get rid of the bugs and store my rice in a sealed container from now on and not keep it around for too long either. Search for bugs in rice on google or similar.

Error while unpacking program, code LP5,please report to author.

It seems to be caused by interference from other applications running on the computer such as AV products. It may also be possible that this Ceedo product you are using is the cause of the problems. Any extra info about how you are trying to run KeyboardTest could help us in troubleshooting the problem.

FACTS ABOUT CODE LP5:
  • Programs as "packed" to reduce space, stop hacking and help prevent pirating of the software.
  • Good packing software is hard to write. So packing is often done using external software protection applications. One of these packages is "Armadillo" from Silicon Realms. Now called Software passport.
  • Protected programs are "unpacked" each time you run them. Normally this is not problem and you never notice it happening. When things go wrong during this process you get the LP5 message like, "Error while unpacking program, code LP5. Please report to author".
  • Only Silicon Realms really know what LP5 stands for. But it is enough to know that unpacking failed.
  • Sometimes, very rarely, you get a corrupted download that prevents correct unpacking of the software. The solution here is to get a new download package.
  • Also, very rarely, there is 3rd party software running on the same machine that interferes with the correct operation of the packed application. We saw this when CA's Antispyware had a bug that messed things up. The solution here is to identify the application causing the problem and uninstall it or get the bug fixed. Which is what we did for our software.
Please vote if this post helps you in anyway.

Regards
George

How do I reverse engineer malware created using LeadTools?

An image file is not executable, so if it contains some kind of payload, it has to be targeting the software that will be rendering the image on a computer in order to drop its payload. The image file by itself is harmless.

And there is a very good reason why the image file starts the way it does. The first few bytes identify the type of data in the file and it is followed by several tags that identify the software that created the file as well as the size of the image, etc. What you are looking it appears to be the beginning of a standard JPEG header. It would be easier to tell from the byte sequence instead of the ASCII characters.
