Try changing the needle
rethread using EVERY thread guide
make sure the thread has not come off the thread take up lever
make sure the bobbin is inserted the right way--counter clockwise
make sure the bobbin case is inserted correctly if it's a side or front loading bobbin
clean in the bobbin area and under the needle plate

My machine is jamming, the bottom threading gets way too loose. and jams the machine up. I dont have an manuel or any instructions.

Ironically, often times when the bobbin thread is knotting up, it's the top thread that needs the adjustment. Loos top thread thesion will tangle up in the bobbin cassing...Think about it for a minuted. Try a quarter turn to the right on your top tension and then go fro there. There could be a problem with the bobbon casing tension adjust screw and plate. but I doubt it...Nine times out of ten when the bobbon thread is tangles the top thread is too loose.

I have put the bobbin in my machine, pulled it up with the top thread satisfactorily, and when I attempt to sew the bobbin thread gets all tangled.

You top threading is not right, totally unthread your machine, insert a new needle (flat side facing away), now rethread paying close attention that your thread is not tangled and is in each guide. Make sure that your presser foot is up when rethreading, very important. Now pull the top thread and see if it runs smoothly, then lower the presser foot, pull thread again, it should barely move. This seats your thread in the tension discs. Good luck

Thread keeps getting stuck in bobbin holder area

Unthread your machine, clean out the bobbin area and brush it, then totally rethread your machine. Make sure that there are no tangles in your thread. Try that, good luck

My left thread keeps breaking! Its getting snipped by the needle above it. How do I fix this? I've been working on it for 2 hours and read the instructions very carefully, word for word :(

Is this a serger or a sewing machine? :Your needle may have a burr, so change the needle and insert the correct way. Also, check your threading, sometimes your thread gets tangled, rethread.

Thread breaks

Hi!

Check to see if the lower thread be tangled. Also, the bobbin could be threaded improperly in the shuttle hook. Rethread the bobbin in the shuttle hook.
How to detangle a thread---

  • When a machine stops operation due to tangled thread, do not turn the pulley by force.
If the pulley is turned by force then, lower thread might not be picked up correctly and stitches might not be formed correctly.

  • If threads get tangled, remove a needle plate and cut the tangled threads by scissors or cutter.
  • Do rate the solution if you find it helpful & useful.

    Thanks
    Rylee
