The screen on my clx6260fx has the please wait message and will not clear. I have shut down printer and computer a number of times however it will not clear?

Shutting down both computer and printer and re-starting a number of times. Deleting and re-installing up to date software.

SOURCE: I cannot reinstall my samsung

It is possible that the OS is corrupt in your PC as the old driver of the printer is not being UNINSTALLED.
Just to make this clear the drivers of the printer MUST BE UNINSTALLED by opening programs- add/remove , click on the printer driver ICON and it will ask to proceed for un-installation.
This must be done and the driver will be UNINSTALLED.
Now BEFORE this is done the printer MUST be removed from the PC.
Once the driver is removed reinstall the driver software into the PC and after a successful installation CONNECT the printer as it will be detected as a NEW HARDWARE AND INSTALLED.
This must be the sequence if you have not done as above repeat.
if not the OS and drivers must be reinstalled as there are errors.

Blinking green light


Try disconnecting the computer from the printer and shutting it down by removing the power cord and then also shut down the computer for a minute or so and then reboot it and check in "Printers" and see if it has anything waiting to be printed and if so clear out the queue. Flashing green light indicates that the printer is receiving data from the computer and/or printing so you shut it all down and cold reboot to clear out the computer confusion in both the computer and the printer.

I have replaced waste toner unit with new one on a WC 5050 and still shows the error message as full so unable to print


Reset to Default settings, if that does not work, shut down printer, unplug power from printer, shut down computer unplug power from computer, wait 20 seconds, plug power in to computer plug power in to printer, wait 5 seconds, boot computer, turn on printer.

NOTE: This should solve most problems with printers.

If still not working you have a faulty Toner unit.

When I try to send a fax I get a redo message and no pages are sent...i have sent many faxes to this number....a message appeared after one page was scanned that said to prress clear and srop...i could not...


Please reset the Printer by following these steps:

Switch the Canon MX310 off using the "Power" button, then push the "Stop/Reset" button on the control panel. Hold the button down for about five seconds.

Push the "Power" button while holding "Stop/Reset." Hold down both buttons for five seconds.

Release "Stop/Reset" while holding down the "Power" button.

Push "Stop/Reset" twice while continuing to hold the "Power" button. Release the "Power" button. The power light will turn green.

Once the light is steady green, push "Stop/Reset." Wait about three seconds and push it again. Wait three more seconds and push it one final time, for a total of three times. The power light will turn orange.

Push the "Power" button, then lift the MX310 cover open.

Remove both ink cartridges and wait 10 seconds. Replace the cartridges and close the MX310 cover. Wait 30 seconds.

Push the "Power" button. Wait a few seconds to allow the printer to fully power down, then switch the Canon MX310 back on using the "Power" button.

Your question is kind of confusing. From what I get is that your printer is saying to not shut it down by unplugging it or breaker switch? If that's the case simply hold the power button till it shuts down (if it doesn't shut off after 5 seconds release and it should shut down).

If the message is saying do not shut it down at all, try and wait it out. It could be loading drivers or saving data etc etc.

Another problem it that you could have print jobs waiting and shutting down could corrupt data. Try and look at the bottom right of your computer screen and find a printer icon. From there you should be able to right click and disable pending print jobs etc etc.

Error message : service error 5c10 on a canon


You can try and clear the error by holding down the power button and waiting for it to turn off then wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. {you might need to unplug it to get it to turn off}

or

Hold down the stop/reset and then push the power button while the printer is on. The printer should shut off then wait 30 seconds and then hold the stop/reset again and push the power button and the printer should turn on with the error cleared.

Printer is on but will not print. Brother HL-2140 laser printer. The print log status reads = Error - Sent to printer.

First, please make sure there is no error message displayed on the LCD screen of the printer

Now we will check the status of your printer in the printers menu in the control panel.
The printer’s status should be set to “ready”
If the printer is “paused” simply clear the print queue, right click on the printer and select “resume printing”.

If the printer says “offline”, follow these steps.
  1. Clear the printer queue
  2. Shut down the computer
  3. Unplug the USB cable from your computer and your printer
  4. Unplug the power cable from the printer and wait 15 seconds
  5. Plug the USB cable back into the printer and the computer.
  6. Plug the printer’s power cable back in.
  7. Turn your computer back on.

Your printer status should be back to ready now and you are able to print.

Mfc7340 will not print--it was working just fine and then it errors out. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it shows ready but errors out

Hello, my Canon i1600 continues to flash on & off & won't re-set when I press Resume. I thought it was the waste absorber full problem & have tried to clear it by pressing the Start button then...


Clearing printer
Turn off your computer and completely shut down.
Turn off your printer.
Disconnect all cables and electrical cords from your printer.
Make sure the electrical cord is also removed from the wall.
Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Then connect the printer cable from the computer to the printer.
Turn on your printer
Now reboot your computer (cold boot)
Your printer should now clear itself.

Canon imageRUNNER C2058 color network printer board-B1 only. Upon power up the display screen indicates "Wait...".


The printer Board B1: you must shut it down by hitting the Options button and then selecting Function >Shut down > Shut down sytem>OK. Then power the machine off with the main switch. If the Customer has not been shutting off the machine properly and you get the please wait message you might try reloading system software first before replacing the hard drive.
Or = remove and reseat the printer board, if that doesn't work then you'll have to reformat the HDD unit and reload system software from a laptop. If the problem remains, the printer board may need to be replaced.

The Color Network Printer Board -B1 has a shut down function. It is for preventing corruption of the HDD. Be sure to turn off the main power switch after performing shutdown.
To properly shut down the Color Network Printer Board -B1:
1. Press the Option key on the control panel if the copier is in copier mode.
2. Make sure that the LCD reads Idle.
3. Select Functions on the LCD.
4. Select Shut Down from the Functions screen.
5. Select Shut Down System from the Shut Down screen.
6. The message 'It is now safe to power off the system' appears on the screen.
7. Power off the main power switch located on the lower right side of the copier.
* Note- After powering off the copier, wait at least five seconds before powering the copier back on.

New printer does not work. get message printer busy with something else


Hey Donald hows it going, sounds like the printer is frozen up or theres a file still waiting to print thats jammed so what we are going to do is the following

press cancel on the printer itself and see if the printer will clear the printer if not,
disconnect the printer from the computer itself turn the printer off and unplug it from the wall wait a few minutes and plug it back into the wall and dont plug it into the computer just yet make sure that its fuctioning by printing out a test page from the printer itself if this works then we know its not the printer but the computer. this ushally means there is a full que or something that hasnt been printed or paused which happens here and there best thing for that would just be simply shutting down your computer waiting a minute and turn it back on and then attach the printer while its on. and see if you get the same results as you did before only this time do a test page through wordpad or notepad just put a line or two of text for testing purposes.

See what happens did we get it?
