SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I prepare a Samsung Chromebook to work with a Blue Intel QX3 microscope when the computer does not have a cd drive?

First please realize that a Chromebook is not the same as a Windows laptop/desktop and your microscope will most likely never work on the Chromebook. This is because we are talking about two different operating systems, with the Chromebook having a very slim Google operating system, called Chrome OS, designed for mainly web browsing and using web based tools such as Google Drive.

You can try to find a driver for the microscope that you can download from the web straight onto the Chromebook. BUT remember, the driver HAS to be for the Chromebook. A Windows driver will not work!

I received a message as follows: Chrome OS is missing or damaged. Please insert a recovery USB Stick or SD Card. Model SNOWBAR AA-J0115

HI,
I have seen others here with that error but am not sure if I can help you any further. It appears as though that is a problem with firmware - I wonder if it was previously sent for repair somewhere and burned with the wrong firmware? But I am guessing. You might have to try contacting a google agent directly: https://support.google.com/chromebook/?hl=en#topic=3399709

Chrome OS is missing or damaged

Go to: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en
Important Note: This method will delete all data you have on the laptop and reinstall your OS. Today's computers often have a partition on the hard drive for recovery.

Start up and desktop icons missing

Hi,

This could happen due to various reasons like :
1. Any recent update done.
2) Virus infected
3) Windows missing/corrupted files.

There are several steps to resolve the issue.

Try one after another and check if that fixes the issue.

Step 1

Try this Fix
Click on the Download link and install the Fix No. 195 ( Restore Desktop Icons and Taskbar )
Download Link

Step 2

Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring Task Manager.
Click on New Task and type appwiz.cpl and click OK
This will re-run add/remove programs.
Remove/Uninstall all new program you installed before having this problem, Also remove the Windows XP Hotfix
Restart your PC.
The access to the taskbar , icons will all come back and Install a new Antivirus.

Step 3
If None of the above steps work, try a System Restore to previous date

Click START - All Programs - ACCSESSORIES - System Tool - System Restore
Choose the date before the system started giving trouble. ( The Date will be in bold ( highlighted ) which indicates the system can be restored to that date with all the settings on that date )

*Note : Doing system restore will uninstall any software/program you have installed from the date you choose the system restore till current date, However it will not delete any files created )

Hope this is helpful.
