My case 580 B is making oil , Fuel getting into crank case , From where ?

SOURCE: 580 Case SK Backhoe has got so it will only start

change filters, and clean the inside of pipes from tank to injectors, use a thin peice of wire to do this

What makes the fuel to flood out into the air filter case


Could be the injector pintle is stuck open and just allowing the fuel pump to keep pumping the fuel in. Make sure you change the oil and oil filter.And clean up any gas before any further work. If you unplug the injector from the harness and just cycle the key no fuel should spray when pump runs. If it does than injector stuck open.

Your either getting air in the system or the injection pump or lift pump is going out.Put a clear piece of hose at the injection pump where the fuel fed is at,then try to start and see if there are air bubbles in the line. If not,then possibly an injection pump.

Where is the block heater on a 580 case


my 580b case didnt have a block heater. i purchase a new one from my local dealer and the instruction tell me to mount it in the block on the drivers side. in behind the fuel filters are 2 plugs...or in my case 2 nipples because mine had a cab heater hooked up..it says to use the rear most port

Makita dpc7311 leaks at crank


The DPC7311 is a two-stroke demolition saw, there should be no standing fluids, oil or otherwise in the crank case to leak out. The reason it uses a 50-to-1 gas-to-oil mix is so the oil in the gas can settle on the moving parts and lubricate them.
If you do have anything leaking anywhere out of your crankcase you most likely have problems with your carburator in that too much fuel is getting into and filling up the crankcase.
You should also look to make sure your leak isn't coming from a crack in the fuel tank or from the carburator or fuel line and running down to look like it's coming from the crankcase.

This is usually caused by the carb overflowing when the generator is OFF and filling the crank case with gas. I.e there is debris in the loat needle seat and the fuel is not shutting off when the float is level so it leaks by.. into the engine and eventually makes it's way into the crank case. via the piston rings.

What kind and how much oil should i put in the crank case of my 1975 suzuki ts 185 and would to thin oil cause it to lose compression?


ts 185 is a two stroke, the crank case oil is actually only the gearbox oil, the volumne is caste onto the side cover(like 750cc).near the filler cap.
The engine oil is mixed with the fuel and is pumped in from the oil tank under the seat.
The wrong oil or no oil in the tank under the seat can cause it to lose compression. and cause engine damage.
Visit a bike shop and get motorcycle gear oil20w50 for gearbox. and two stroke motorcycle engine oil for the oil tank.
As it is quite old someone may have removed the oil tank, thinking they will make it go faster or save weight or another stupid reason, if this is so you need to mix the two stroke oil with the petrol when you fill the tank at approx 25-1 ( 25 litres petrol mixed with 1 litre of oil)

Chainsaw won't stay running at full throttle

One cause to look in too is a leaking seal around the crank, this is causing a vacuum leak.

4t390 fuel in oil


If it has a manual transfer fuel pump ( little pump with a small lever on it that pumps fuel to the main injector pump), it may have a busted diaphram. Engine oil benieth it and fuel above it. Change pump, because even though if tested in air and pulls a vacum, may have a very small pin hole in it. Can test with a vacum guage and a small pressure guage. Recomend changing engine oil and filter because of bearing wash.
Or possiable shaft seal leak on the main injector pump.
