For problems with Simac products, I would recommend visiting www.delonghi-accessories.com. Delonghi is the parent company of Simac, and that site is run by a US distributor and lists Simac products, along with contact numbers for support.
If you speak Italian, you could also try www.simac-vetrella.com, that looks like Simac's main website.
Good luck.

I have a Musso L2 or L2A ice cream maker. I am searching for a service manual with a list of replacement parts.

Suleiman, your directions are not clear -- how do I "wiggle off the mixer blade assembly before the bowl"? I can't get that central spindle to budge no matter how I tap it or wiggle it or pull it or try to unscrew it. I can't take the top off the machine to get at the switch housing inside. Please, can you post a video of how to take apart a Musso Stella ice cream machine?

Check that all gears are in good working order. The paddlewill not turn properly and the motor will not run if the gears are worn ordamaged gears. Inspect the paddle for damage and replace if necessary. You alsomay need to replace worn or damaged gears in the motor. Lubricate the motor, drive shaft and motor bearings. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

Motor making a squealing sound

First try cleaning the outer part of squealing blades with a soft cloth and try.

If not resolved then, you need to open the case and try replacing the blades.
If the problem is still not resolved, please replace the Iccream maker

Ice cream maker instructions

Hi,
I have the booklet for this machine.
1) you can use any IC recipe as long as it does not exceed 1 quart. This is for vanilla:
1/2 c sugar
1 1/4 c half&half
1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla
with mixer beat eggs and sugar until thincl and cream colored. Addthe cream and vanilla mix well.

the machine:

you want to put the freezer cylinder in a plastic bag (to prevent freezer burn) and then put it in the back of your freezer until completely frozen 6 to 22 hours. You should not be able to hear liquid slosh when you shake it. For making stuff quick they recommend keeping it in the freezer in the bag.

step one: Put maker on flat surface.

two: Put the mixer bowl on the base.

three: Place frozen cylinder into to the mixer bowl (the big one) do this when you are ready to start the IC because the cylinder begins defrosting right away.

four: set the paddle on top of the cylinder, placing the peg on the freezer cylinder inside the peg hole on the paddle

five: Place the cover over the mixer bowl, locking the grooves on the motor base. Plug in, turn on, the bowl and cylinder will begin to turn.

six: Pour the recipe into the feeder hole of the cover then put the lid on.

You will need 20 to 40 minutes or until mixture is frozen. Don't stop the machine until done. If you want hard ice cream spoon the soft serve into an airtight bowl and put it in the freezer till it is like you want it.

Hope this helps, Elizabeth

Taylor ice cream machine 751

the shake mixers are an add on to the machine so it should be easy to repair just the mixer itself and use it and the other mixer in the mean time. most of the wiring and fuses for the mixers are separate from any for the operation of the ice cream machine.
