This all depends on the type of water and if using a wet suit , you will need to experiment, start off light and just add weight untill you start to slowly descend down What Suba Divers Need to Know About Buoyancy

### How many yards in a ton?

As a rule of thumb, you can multiply the cubic yards by a factor of 1.4 to get tons. But remember, yards is a measure of volume where tons is a measure of weight. Thus, depending upon the material being calculated, true weight can vary greatly. Obviously a yard of wet sand will weigh far more than a yard of dry sand, as water is more dense and has more weight than the sand it displaces in the volume. Large crush stone may weigh far less than pea gravel for the same volume as there is less air gap around the gravel than there is around the large crush. If you need a true weight of a yard of some material, you would have to know its weight in a particular volume and then calculate from that value.

### Does anyone know how many average size bluestones one coould put into the aluminum tray of a 1992 Rodeo. Or what the caring weight of this tray might be.

weigh a sample of your average bluestones and divide that into 1000kgs (1ton) and by spreading the stones all over the tray that will be the total number that you can carry. So if you average weight is 10 lbs (5 kgs) then you could fit 200 stones on the tray. If you cannot weigh the stones because of size then load the tray until the distance between the axle bump stop and axle has decreased by half . This will be within the load limit . Any more and you can be considered overloaded.

### ERr

Are you talking 31 "Stone"? If so, I believe that comes out to 434lbs. You are lucky if your scales can read that high. For testing purposes, remove your shoes or more if you think your right at the upper limit. Or let a slightly lighter friend try it. I assume your talking "Stone" as used in the UK. Are you from there? (I,m in the US, in Florida.) Also, there should be a switch on the bottom of the scale (upper left corner) allowing you to switch between lbs, st and kg. You can try that as well, although the limit should be basically identical. If you tell me more, I can help you more.
(By the way, I weigh 197 lbs right now, that's 14 stone.)

### 1 cup is to how many grams?

A cup is a measure of volume, but a gram is a measure of mass.

Depending on the density of the material you are going to have in the cup, the weight in grams of the material will vary. For example, if you fill the cup with lead, the cup will weigh much more than if you fill with feathers.
This question would be similar to asking how much does a 6 foot person weigh. It depends on the person of course. A cup of water will weigh more than a cup of flour.

Examples:

Granulated sugar: 1 cup = 200 grams
Brown sugar: 1 cup, packed = 220 grams
Sifted white flour: 1 cup = 125 grams
White rice, uncooked: 1 cup = 185 grams

### Length of board

It's more about personal preference. I'm 5'8" and weigh 155. I ride a 155 burton blunt and 147 ride kink. For days with powder I like the longer board and for packed powder days and park days I love the 147. There's no one size that's right or wrong. If you like doing tricks a smaller board may make it easier if you like crusing a longer board makes sense. The longer the board the faster you'll go. The Palmer Prodigy is a fine board, a 160 would be well within the range you can ride, remember you're only talking a few centimeters difference between many models. Good luck and stick with it!!
