I have a sony pcv-rx270ds. I unpluged it and it wont come back on when i push the button

I will start with an obvious question - Did you plug it back in? You don't mention this in your question.
Now, presuming that you did plug it back in, I will offer some other suggestions.
Are you sure the outlet it is plugged into is working properly? You can tell easily by connecting something like a small lamp; if the lamp works then the outlet is live, if not, try using another outlet. It is also possible that you need to check where the other end of the plug goes into the back of the computer; make sure it is pushed in as far as it can reasonably go.
If none of these do the trick, try disconnecting the power cable from the computer entirely. Then press and hold down the "Start" button for a period of at least 10 seconds - this will release any static buildup that may be in the computer or power cable.
If you have another power cable, try switching it out with the present one. It is rare for these to fail, but there is a slight chance. If you don't have one, you may try using one from another computer component BUT, only if it matches exactly.
Now, the last and worst thing that could have happened - there is a possibility, very slight, that you may have fried your power supply. Power supplies are not as expensive as one might think ($40 - $100), depending on what type and maximum power (wattage) your computer needs. If you are at all handy with taking on such a project, go ahead and do so. Just take down the info about the power supply from the label on it and write down your computer make and model and go to a computer store and buy one yourself.
Otherwise, if none of these help you, your best bet is to take the whole computer to your local computer repair shop.

Sony PCV RZ44G irresponsive

Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If itboots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and putit into the open memory chip slot and try booting.Just because you see lights around the power button does not mean that the Power Supply is ok. I've seen many times when the Power Supply makes the light around the power button come on and makes the light on the motherboard come on, but it does not have enough power to make the Fan inside the power supply come on or anything else.

The only thing works on my 600 series is fan-nothing to screen

You can try reseating the memory and video card. You just pull them out and put them back in. Disconnect the power cord before. Also, the machine should beep. Those beep codes have diagnostic meanings. Listen to the beep, and google it: like 2 short 1 long or 4 short.

If the machine doesn't beep, the motherboard is bad.

Sony vaio pcv 2244 wont turn on. after a while it will attempt to turn on but no luck.

This is power problem, i advice you change the outlet you are trying to plug your printer to see if it will power up, it that did not solve the problem, then you will need to change the power cord to that printer because it could be that the power cord is malfunctioning and not supplying full current to power the printer, so i suggest you change the printer power cord to test another power and see if it will power up.

Take care.

I have a SONY PCV-RX660. I had the computer disconnected from all power sources for an extended period of time. Tried to start it up yesterday and the computer will not problems with speakers...

Usually there is a switch on the back of the power supply that turns the supply on or off. Make sure it is turned on. Try using a different 3-prong cord between computer and outlet.

My sony vio is not starting up

Hi there, This my indicate quite a few hardware issues but to start,
If you have an expansion card requires its own molex connection to the power supply this may be the problem if the card isn't getting enough power or is unplugged. check and make sure all power cords are plugged in and not coming loose on the mobo and all other components, If you have access to another Power supply try swapping your power supply for a different one. i hope this helps and good luck.
