Can you please explain further? Are you trying to play a video on a device (for example an ipod touch)?.

Basically a video file won't play if it's in a format not compatible or readable by the device.

A basic solution is to convert the video file into a format the device can read.

I can further help you if you can provide me the following:

1. The model of the device you are using (eg. ipod touch, iphone, samsung galaxy tab, etc)
2. The video file type. (eg. .mov, avi, mp4)

I don't know how to get videos on my polariod mp3. i need help.

1. Connect your MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The cable hooks into the bottom of the player.
2. Open Windows Media Player on your computer. If your MP3 player is connected properly, the media player will display The Name Of Your Player in its menu. This is where you place your video files.
3. Locate the video file you want to put on your MP3 player and select it by clicking on it with your computer's mouse.
4. Once the video is selected, "drag" the video across the media player to your mp3 players name display on the player.
5. When your player's name display lights up, release the mouse to "drop" the video into your MP3 player's video file.
6. Repeat the process to place additional videos.

Want to watch movies

Looks like it only plays .mtv files, so a converter may be needed before uploading video files to the 610.

When I download videos, I get a message that reads"wrong file format". How do I fix this?

Some MP3 players will only display video files with these extensions avi, and wmv.
Check your player's specification for the video file formats that ir uses.
If you dowloaded an incompatible video file, there are video converter programs on the Internet that convert video files to a video format that suits your player.

Avi file

Please down load and install the latest version of media player for your version of windows. or you can download and install winamp with its video plugin which will play .AVI file easily. Also make sure that you have installed correct display driver for your hardware. Normally no video codec is required to play original .AVI file. I think you may have a DV video fire (.AVI) file. This will play if install the DV video codec. Media player classic will play most of the formats.
