Could be but check the reverse polarity diode first and see if its blown. If it is replace it with the same diode .1n4001

I am getting a code telling me my voltage regulator diodes are bad on my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. Should I be replacing the PCM to fix the problem.

Not sure about the 96 but, voltage regulators generally have to do with the alternator. As a matter of a fact you can just replace the voltage regulator on the alternator as opposed to spending the money that it cost to replace the whole alternator, I found this out because a mechanic ripped me off and charged me for a alternator but, he only replaced the voltage regulator diode part on the alternator.. Replacing the PCM is going to be expensive and in my opinion not necessary

Where is the voltage regulator located

The voltage regulator is located on the engine itself. Before blaming the voltage regulator you need to make sure that there is no drain on the battery while it is sitting and also the battery is a good one. Batteries can develop problems that will cause them to drain themselves over time. Also using a DVM (digital volt meter) check to see if there is a charge voltage of 12.5 vdc up to about 14.5 vdc. If this is present then voltage regulator and alternator both are working fine.

Replacing voltage regulator

Not sure what you mean when you say Replacing voltage regulator. Would need to know the model number of the engine however as a general rule a voltage regulator is fairly easy on most of the John Deere mowers. As with any electronics when you buy they are not returnable. Depending on the engine you have a voltage regulator can be costly and may not fix your problem.

My problem is voltage fluctuation, after starting generator the voltage is 380v and become 150v then goes up to 410v

I am sure the problem is the adjustment of the voltage regulator.
There are 3or4 small adjustable "pots" on the circuit board of the regulator.
You must connect an analoge volt meter to the output of the generator for this adjustment. Adigital will not work in this case. You will need to adjust the "IR" compensation pot as necessary to stabalize the voltage. This adjustment will surely change the voltage also. As you change the IR you will need to change the voltage too.
Let us know if you need more help. You may need to get the info sheet for your regulator if the pots are not cleasly marked.
