Pick it up off the table, and then reset it on the table, there you have reset your amp.

Sorry the add says Yamaha because there was no polaris section Polaris 500 1999 big boss starts ok but as soon as you go to take off the qoua starts spluttering and it seems to be worse in reverse whitch...

To get a handle on the cause, check the spark plug. Is it black and sooty(fuel rich) - Or white (too lean). This will help you to know if its too much fuel or not enough. If the spark plug is black & sooty,it could be a cloged air filter or air filter box intake. Or a blocked exhaust. You can try running the bike with the airbox lid & filter removed-As well as without the muffler to test these out. Let me know what the plug looks like & I'll try & suggest somthing!

My amp jl audio 500/1 i connect it and the green light turn on then i turn in the sterio and it sounds but when i turn off the sterio and when i wanna turn it on again the amp dont turn on i dont know why

Check the remote lead and see if it is getting power at the amp when it won't come on that way you know if the issue is with the head unit or the amplifier.

How do i set cam position and timing on an old yamaha xt 500

You didn't say WHY the cam / valve timing needs to be reset. For some reason I get the feeling someone told you that resetting was needed and so you are asking how. Obviously, you may have installed new pistons and that is why the resetting is needed. In either event, when the cam timing is set the valve timing is also set. Other than adjusting valve lash, setting the cam sets the valve timing. Below is a web site where you can do a free download of a factory service manual. The process is not hard but having a manual will be more help and faster help than I can give online.

Ok I give up I have searched for months for a direct answer to my problem.. to be honest I have found several people who have had the same thing happen to them but the solutions are for different...

Check the power adapter UNDER LOAD. It has to do more than just light up lights to be exhonerated. If the voltage is too low, the power on reset of the micro inside will NOT release and it will act dead...

In short, you need more than light to run this.

Next step is checking that the adapter is delivering DC and not dipping down during the power cycle. This you need a scope to test.

Also check that the headphone jack switch is working. If it thinks the headphones are in, it disconnects the speakers.

Hooking up Turntable to Yahama HTR-5660

you have to have a pre amp, or an old reciever with a phono input.

you dont have to use the aux input, the cd or md-cdr inputs will be fine, but you do need that preamp for that reciever
