Re: TV keeps stopping and going to radio station why
Do a reset to this TV and check. If it do not help you, contact the authorized service centre for Samsung. It software is corrupted. A software update will be necessary.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

OK, I do not know which model of radio you have but if it is similar to DMR105, try doing a "factory reset".
It is also possible that one of the following has happened:
The station you were listening to had a break in transmission. - Try another station.
You have lost the radio signal. - Try another station.
Your battery has run flat. Change battery/power source.
That depends on how your TV is set up for radio reception.
Some TVs have a dedicated FM/AM radio tuner. This requires signals from both forms of radio antenna.
More commonly now though, digital TV includes a wide range of radio stations broadcast as part of the TV range. In the UK, the radio stations are grouped in the 700+ channel range. e.g. 701 is BBC Radio 1.
just reset the sations by chosing 1 then go 2 the desired sation then holding the 1 button until an audible chime is heard or the station number flashes then see if it stays there when you change station and then go back to 1
I reset the TV by pressing the on/off and "OK" button at the same time after unplugging and replugging the TV. I also called comcast for a signal to be sent to my card ( I had done that yesterday with no result), so I don't know which of these worked, but I am good to go again.
I had this problem for the last 2 weeks, didn't think much of it, but recently the car radio just turned on and off by itself, it decided to do so whilst the car was switched off and it drained my battery. After doing some tests with the Amp meter and removing the fuses for the radio and infotainment system the amps going through the batter went from about 0.7 to 0.001 (far more accpetable) - so the radio was draining the battery and randomly turning itself on/changing stations and the internal display system had stopped working.
after putting the fuses back in and re-testing the radio worked fine (almost like it had a full reset - no random turning on and off OR changing of radio stations)
the fuse box for my astra was next to the battery under the bonnet (see your car manual - I had lost mine so googled for it)
but it seems yanking the fuses for the radio (FUSE number 35 and 36) seemed to fix it (been a few days and no flat battery) -
It maybe an intermitent fault, in which case i'll have it looked into, but as garages charge an arm and a leg i'd give this solution a go and if your battery is good all you need to do is remove the fuses and put them back after say a minute or so)
