What causes 2002 suzuki marauder to rev high after warmed up?

Hi, Could well be carburetor misadjusted. Too much air to fuel mix
Also if the bike sat for a long period, it may have gummed up jets in carb. Clean out and you'll be good to go. Hope that helps.

How do you clean a carbuerator

Hi, remove the carb and strip it down paying attention to part locations, spray the carb and jets with aresol carb cleaner and blow it out with compressed air. Reassemble carb and test run. Regards Phil.

Ho w to adjust engine so it will start . it is a 14" have no manual.

Hi j reardon...

Before you remove or try to adjust your low and high speed jets you should always count the number of turns it takes to lightly seat the idle mixture screw and high speed needle adjusting screws.
Be sure to write the number of turns down on a piece of paper so you will know how many turns from the seated position to open the jets when you go to reinstall them, or if you remove them for cleaning or replacement.
If you have aready tried to adjust them then the adjustments below should get it running for you for final adjustment when warm.
Normally you will adjust your idle jet to 1/2-3/4 turn open from the bottom seated position.
Then you will re-adjust the low speed of the engine when the engine is warm by turning the idle screw in or out till the engine runs smoothly at idle speed, around 800-1200 RPM.
The high speed jet is adjusted to 1 1/2- 1 3/4 open from the bottom seated position, after the engine is warm.
Then re-adjusted by turning the High Speed jet adjustment screw in or out till the motor runs smoothly at high speed.
Alway use the "lightly seated" method if you have not changed the screw settings.

I have a 95 rm 125 i keep fauling plugs i mix my gas 40 to 1 and use penns oil 2 stroke mix im using a br9 and a br8 plugs i guess i need a special one but its 35 a plug also my bike when the power band in...

If your fouling plugs, my guess is that your premix isnt quite right and possibly your piston rings are on their way out. BR8/9 should be running your bike fine, we use BR9's in our bikes and we have no proplems. As for your powerband issue, sounds like a jetting problem. Could possibly be a clogged jet. Id suggest stripping the carb and cleaning it out, blow through all the jets, with WD40 or similar so that you know they are free and clear. Put it back together and give it a try.

Hi davefrag1057, has it sit all year with fuel in it? Sounds like the high speed jet is blocked. Or the float is stuck in off position not allowing fuel to flow into carbuerator bowl. Or you may have water or other debri in bowl. I would start by removing the carbuerator bowl, clean it( and watch what comes out of it). I use a clean pan to drain it into so I can see water or other contaminates. Before replacing the bowl check float operation, with the float hanging down and the gas on fuel should be flowing, lift the float to level and flow should stop. Now while the bowl is off lets deal with blocked jet. If you have compressed air blow through it.(its right up through the middle of the float.) Without air remove the jet and run a small wire through it. This should get ya going. Happy New Year! (don't recommend using ether).

2002 boulvard stall out on heavy throttle idle good just accell orate

Chances are the main diaphragm or accelerator diaphragm is not tightened down or has a slight leak in the membrane. The jets may also need to be cleaned along with the various circuits in the carb.
Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?
