Question about Halonet 98-03 DODGE DURANGO / 00-04 DODGE DAKOTA QUAD CAB POWER FRONT WINDOW REGULATOR
Bleeding the entire system
I suspect master cylinder seal broke coincidentally.
(maybe not common but maybe not un-common either because of age of truck)
Do you want to save $50-$80 but invest labor, disconnect brake outlet pipe from M/Cylinder then plug with same thread bolt then push pedal, see if it's solid or soft.
if it's still soft, maybe leak from pipe, rubber hose or connector.
If you think it's time to change M/cylinder anyway, buy and replace M/cylinder (maybe $60) then see if it's still soft.
Don't forget to bleed air from M/cylinder when you change.
