Many oven appliance shops have replacement seals. If you can remove yours, take it in for a matching seal.

Where can I get a heat resistance double sided tape to affix the external glass of the oven to the SS frame on my slide in GE stove .

Most of the time that GE attaches any type glass to hot metal these days they use silicone seal. It is uses to attach glass cooktops into the metal frame of the cooktop. Get a tube of GE clear silicone seal and glue the glass around the complete edge getting a good seal and contact at the glass edge and metal panel. Let it dry 24 hrs before reassemble. The silicone seal turns to rubber when dry and is quite heat resistant. It won't stand up to direct flame but should hold your glass well.

Oil pump leak toyota camry

You need to remove the front part of the oil pump and reseal it with an oil pump reseal kit from the parts store. Do yourself a favor and put in a new oil pump shaft seal as well. While you are at it change the front crank and the front cam seals, as they are all made from the same type of rubber.

There is a substance which resembles silicon which is known to me as leak-stop. It has lots of uses including guttering.

It is NOT silicon and has a distinct smell. It also repels water...

Water coming in at the hatchback window had a new seal on it

Make sure the rubber is fully attached to the metal lip it mounts to. If it isn't rain gets in around it there. Use silicone caulk to remount rubber where loose. Keep it away from glass. Look for kinks in the seal or rips. Tiny spaces can allow alot of water in.

Metal ring aroound rubber seal fell off.

Start with the spring at the bottom, work the retainer around until the seal starts to pull away from the washer. Now grip the loop that the spring attaches to on the side that isn't in place and open the retainer. Push the retainer in place and release the spring.
