Question about Ovens

My Rayburn 680kcd was installed two years ago but is totally unreliable. The main board has been replaced twice, the first replacement from AGA was faulty, and AGA admitted that it knowingly supplied

The boiler / oven is still under warranty, the engineer has been communicating with AGA -Rayburn but so far has been supplied with a board which AGA knew was faulty before sending it. The second board has failed after three days

My oven pad show out F2:E1

For Whirlpool (and associated brands), the F2 E1 error indicates a communication problem between the touch pad and the electronic control board. The oven's control thinks that the touch pad wiring is unplugged. This could be due to damaged wires, a loose wiring harness or a problem with the touch pad. First check that the wires aren't loose. Press Cancel to see if the signal is sent to the control board and clears the error. Wait 60 seconds for a response.

If the error persists, you need to replace the touch pad. On some models, you'll have to replace the touch pad and control board since they are sold as a single unit. For the units where the touch pad is a separate unit, you may still need to replace the control board. If the F2 E1 error persists after replacing the touch pad, then the control board is also faulty.

If you post a comment with the oven's make and model number, I may be able to give you the appropriate replacement part numbers. If your oven is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer for the repairs.

I hope this helps.

Fan control printed circuit board

Printed Circuit Boards are the 'brain' of the boiler. They control every action and can be found in most appliances from boilers to warm air units and fires. They are often referred to as a PCB, control box, mother board, driver board, sequence board, ignition board or power board. For more info you can visit at

Ned's to know witch relay to replace wich f8 problem

Hi there! Typically for such an error code, F8 or F80, there is a communication error between the UI (User Interface) and the control board (often the microwave control board). Yes you have a microwave control board in a double wall oven. This will require either the main control board or the UI board being replaced by a professional for safety reasons. I would suggest to contact a professional that partners with your manufacturer. Contact your manufacturer first to see if there are any known issues or a limited warranty for your model.

Thermador oven sc272t f-c code I have a F-C code on the oven and it beeps continunually. Do I need to call a repairman?

Hello, welcome to FixYa.
Based on your post I understand you have an error "FC" on your Thermador SC272 wall oven, correct ?

There are two common scenarios with these Thermador wall ovens fitting what you've described. Either the lower oven control board has failed or there is a communication error between the control board and the display.

Here is an exert from my Thermador service documents explaining in their terms...(hopefully it won't get partially cut-off when I click "submit" as it sometimes does with attachments, that's out of my control unfortunately).

In either scenario I'd suggest calling in an authorized B/S/H/ (Thermador/Bosch/Gaggenau) service technician since it is pretty involved to trace and possibly replace (hopefully not) any failed/faulty component on these units.

Hope this helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further and good luck.

New Wolf gas range that has never been used. Gas is leaking from interior oven when gas is turned on. Regultor? Valve?

This is classed as an Imediately dangerous situation, sounds like you have a broken joint . The oven will have to be return back to the shop or contact the oven manufacturer for the to send an engineer out as it's still under warranty. Other wise if you fix it yourself by getting a gas safe engineer out it will be quite costly. DO NOT LEFT CONNECTED TO THE GAS SUPPLY, ISOLATE THE APPLIANCE WHERE POSSIBLE AND CONTACT A GAS SAFE ENGINNER TO DISCONNECT UNTIL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT.

I had an home energy audit done and the carbon monoxide level reading was 266 parts per million, which the auditor was way too high. Is this a high level for a ARGS7650 gas oven or within the...

The oven is not burning properly, you require a service on the appliance by a gas registered engineer, as this is specialised area that requires special equipment without getting into this too far, it should cost depending on location, around £50, if you have a gas boiler the same engineer can offer this service.
Hope this has been helpful.

I am looking to get an aga cooker instaled gas with my own corgi reg fitter and need assembly instructions

Installation really isn't something that can be done from a set of instructions - it's more complicated than that and needs an AGA trained engineer to do it. Suggest contacting AGA Service for advice, as a badly installed AGA may not function correctly.

I'm looking for the service manual for a Rayburn solid fuel cooker

What do you need to know? They are so simple. Clean out space under hot plate now and again to prevent soot build up under the flue outlet space, have chimney swept now and again..(annually depending on use) .look in flap on bottom of flue pipe should tell you if needs sweeping.

Digital Display

My display went completely dead. Been dead for a while. Just today I fixed it. You have to change a small capacitor, on display board labelled C3. Very hard to find the exact one which is, 35V - 68 microfarad, so I replaced it with 35V - 100 microfarad. Works just fine. You have to be handy, or find a friend that can do this, cause you will need to solder.

Anyways hope this helps. By the way the capacitor cost me 15 cents canadian.

Good Luck
