Mitsubishi WD60735. Had white spots. Later lamp went. Replaced DLP Chip and lamp. Screen lights up very slightly. No sound. Green LED light is steady. Projection lamp is on. What is my problem.

Check and replace the lamp inverter too. Lamp replacement should always accompanied by the inverter too. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Hi Jomo, sounds like your TV lamp is not working and needs replacement. You can buy the replacement online as well. It's quite popular. Good luck!

Hdtv flashing green light for timer tv wont turn on

If the TV is a few years old the flashing green light means the bulb need to be replaced. That's why the TV will not show a picture. Check your owners manual on how to replace.

No sound or picture. red timer light on. wd60735

Hi there,

This model as 3 LED indicator lights:

1) Power/Timer 2) Status 3) Lamp

If "STATUS" LED is blinking RED:

1) Internal Fan has stopped. These tv's require fans, to prevent overheating and causing damage.

If "STATUS" LED is solid RED:

1) Circuit failure (short)
2) Disconnected DVI cable, chassis to engine
3) No LAMP-EN signal from Engine to turn the lamp On.
4) Ballast UART communication problem.

If "LAMP" LED is solid RED:

1) Lamp Failure - Lamp failed to turn On.
2) Lamp is broken (e.g. burst or blown)
3) Lamp turns Off during P-ON

There is no data relating to TIMER LED being solid RED.

Hope this helps.

I have a mitsubishi dlp tv model wd60735 the picture is not bright any longer any suggestions

I think you have one of the models that have two mirrors inside: not Mitsubishi's best idea.

Most have just the large mirror in the back but I think this model has a very small mirror at the bottom (odd shape about 4x6 inches) behind the front screen which faces upwards and gets dirty from the fans inside the set.

It is amazing how much it can dim the picture; Caution, if yours has it the only way to get at it is to remove the entire front screen assembly---a phone call to Mitsubishi will confirm if your model has the two mirrors----the big one never needs cleaning(almost never and is special).

If you find your model has two mirrors either consider having a pro come out and do it (15 min job) or You Tube it to see if instructions there.

look before you leap as this is usually a two person job.

If you have questions let me know.

I have seen this before in these sets

Tv comes on with sound no picture, timer light stays on for about 20secs,then lamp light comes on stays on as tv shuts down,we are stomped, cant fix prob with no screen.

The first question i need to ask is Have you removed the bulb to check to see if it has blown. If there is no visable signs that it is bad then replace it and make sure the door is secure. Secound thing you can do is retrieve the error codes. To do this press and hold MENU and INPUT button on the front of set. The timer light will flash then pause then flash again denoteing a 2 digit code. this will maybe point the way to possible problem

Problems w my mitsubishi hdtv big screen

Typically this is a indication you have a Power Supply problem and not something you can fix with out a repairman unless you have knowledge of the Power supply Circuits in these models . Play it safe. Get a repairman who is authorize by Mitsubishi to look at it.
Hope this Helps,
