Question about RCA Scenium PHD50300 50 in. Plasma Television
There is a vertical black line in the lower lefthand part of the screen that extends about halfway the length of the screen. The line is about an inch wide and has a thinner white line in it. How can I get rid of this line?
It sounds like you have a bad cable coming off of your Plasma Screen that goes into one of the buffer boards or a bad buffer board (Hopefully the latter which is easily replaced but most likely not!) I have run into the same problem and there is an IC made into the cable that goes out and would be very difficult to repair if it is even possible.
