Setup proscan tv

Newer tvs have a lot of input connections ( holes) and can be very confusing. With out knowing what kind of plugs you have I will try to help as best I can. First ,if you have a coax cable hook it to the corresponding connector. The coax is a pencil sized cable that has a center wire and a threaded nut. It will screw onto the threaded connector on the back of the tv. If you have RCA cables these will be color coded yellow for video red and white for audio plug these into the corresponding connectors. There may be more than one set of these connectors and may be marked input1 or input2 etc.make sure to write down which input you plug these into.you may also have colorstream cables there are three green red and blue. Some of the newer tvs don't have inputs for these but if yours does plug them into the corresponding colors. Another cable you may have is a s-video cable this is a single cable that has a multi pin connector on each end. Again find the corresponding connector and plug this cable in. The newer cable is called a hdmi cable and is a cable with a rectangular end. This one cable takes the place of the multi-pin s- video cable or the RCA cables. It also replaces the colorstream cables. If you were able to connect all your cables up. Turn on the tv. You may get a blue screen that says no signal. Don't panic take the remote and find the input button. Pressing the input button changes the tv to the various sets of inputs on the back on the tv. Press the input button several times waiting in between each press of the button for several seconds untill you find the input you connected your cables to. If your connecting a vcr make sure you have a video playing so there will be a signal for the tv to find. I'm not sure what a PVR is, but make sure it is playing some thing when you scroll through the inputs on the tv with the remote. Hope this helps.

How do i connect xfinity to my plasma display

If you're referring to your xfinity tv receiver (the cable box) there's a few different ways. Please keep in mind without much information, it's difficult to give a 100% direct answer.

There are four ways to connect it. We'll start with what will give you the best video quality, going to the worst.

HDMI cable: A single cable with a flat end. Your TV and receiver will have port labeled "HDMI". You plug it in, and then use your tv remote to set it to the HDMI channel. You may have source or input button on the remote. Press that, and a list of options will appear on your tv. Select HDMI. If there is more than one HDMI (as in HDMI1, HDMI2) try each one until you get a picture.

Component cable: A cable with 5 ends. They're color coded, so match up the colors. Then try that input our source button to select the COMPONENT option on your tv.

RCA cable: A cable with three ends. Color coded. Follow the same directions as above in regards to the correct "channel" to put it on.

Coax: A single cable, an end that screws in. Its connector will look like something can be screwed on it, with a hole in the middle for the pin to go into. Connect it, then tune your tv to channel 3 or 4.

How do i make it continue to run with no bucket so it does not fill and and so i don't have to empty it

Attach a length of garden hose no longer than 5 feet, to the threaded drain hose connection that was supplied with your unit, to carry water to the drain.
1. Remove the drain-hole cover on the back left side of your unit.
2. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
3. Push hose connector tightly to the drain-hole on Rear Grille with the arrow on the tab pointing UP.
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting.
Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector,
use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the
plastic threads.
When being attached to hose connector drain hose connection,
do not bend or kink the hose. The hose should lie flat from the
dehumidifier to the drain.

How is the external tube for draining outside connected to the dehumidifier. Does the tube insert into the right angle nipple, then the threded end conected to a drain hose?

No. The tube inserts straight into the drain hole. Follow the 4 sets below.

1. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
2. Remove the drain-hole cover.
3. Push hose connector tightly into the drain-hole on Rear Grille.
4. Press the hose down and make sure the "Arrow" on the tab is pointing upward.

NOTE:
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting. Do not over tighten the hose when
connecting it to the hose connector, use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the plastic threads. Be sure the hose lays flat and has no kinks, as it will not drain properly.

I have a single pole lighted switch with no wiring diagram. it has two screws on one side and three push connection holes, two marked common the other not marked. how do i install it properly?

I hesitate to answer question because the color of the screws is not identified. The holes are not identified which color screw they are next to. You can fill in these blanks when answering if the following information is not complete.

First of all, the green screw goes to bare ground wire and isn't discussed further

Usually a single pole switch has 2 brass-colored screws.
This tells you the wires from old single pole switch can connect to either screw.
Normally the quick-connect holes are located next to a screw >> that screw and the hole are connected. Sometimes there are two holes next to a screw >> and the same rule applies that holes are connected to screws they are next to.

If your switch has two screws and the colors are brass and silver, then that tells you something else.
It says that black-hot-wire-from-breaker connects to brass screw.
And wire-going-to-load (fan, light, motor) connects to silver screw.
If you do not know which wire is which, connect wires, if device doesn't work, then reverse the wires.
Again the quick-connect holes are located next to screw they are connected to.

If your switch has threes screws, then that switch has 2 brass screws and 1 dark screw.
You can wire this device as a single pole by connecting wires to dark screw and either brass screw

I cannot locate the valet switch to disengage the alarm.

    Preparing for the Installation
  1. Step 1 Gather materials. You will need scissors or a knife, crimps, solder material, solder gun, test light, drill, screw bit, screws, tie wrap, double-sided mounting tape and a voltmeter.
  2. Step 2 Read the installation manual that comes with the alarm. Make sure you understand what the instruction manual says. If you purchased the alarm from an automotive store, you can always ask them some basic questions to help you get started.
  3. Step 3 Call the tech support number for manufacturer of the alarm and tell the tech advisor what kind of car you have. Ask what kind of locking system your car uses and what color wire to connect to in order to interface the lock/unlock feature of your alarm,
  4. Step 4 Ask the advisor how to hook up the relay for the door lock feature, what color wire to connect to for the starter disable feature, and how to hook up the relay.
  5. Step 5 Ask how to set up the voltmeter to test the door lock wires.
  6. Step 6 Ask how to access the factory door triggers.
  7. Step 7 Determine where you intend to place the components by referring to the installation manual.
  8. The Installation
  9. Step 1 Mount the siren to a solid metal surface under the hood. Point the horn of the siren down toward the ground so that moisture cannot collect inside it. Drill a hole through a rubber grommet in the firewall of the car and feed the siren's wire through that hole into the passenger compartment of the car.
  10. Step 2 Connect the alarm's power wire directly to the car's battery. Feed the wire through the rubber grommet on the firewall and into the passenger compartment of the car.
  11. Step 3 Put a fuse on the power wire next to the battery. Check the installation manual for the fuse size.
  12. Step 4 Mount the shock sensor as described in the manual.
  13. Step 5 Drill a hole in the dash where you intend to place the LED status indicator. Feed the LED's wire through that hole and place the double-sided mounting tape to the back of the LED and place it over the hole in the dash.
  14. Step 6 Locate the wires that work the car's power door locks.
  15. Step 7 Connect the door-lock relay to the lock/unlock wires and connect the alarm wire to the relay in the manner described by the tech advisor.
  16. Step 8 Using the advice of the tech advisor, locate the wire that works the courtesy light if the alarm has current sensing.
  17. Step 9 Connect the current sensing line from the alarm to the courtesy light wire.
  18. Step 10 Locate the factory door triggers if the alarm does not have current or voltage sensing.
  19. Step 11 Connect the factory door trigger to the alarm.
  20. Step 12 Find the starter wire on the steering column some inches below the starter switch. Cut the line and connect the starter disable relay. Connect the starter disable wire from the alarm to the relay.
  21. Step 13 Mount the valet switch somewhere under the dash.
  22. Step 14 Connect all the wires to the proper inputs and outputs of the alarm module.
  23. Step 15 Mount the module to a sturdy surface under the dash using the drill, screw bit and screws.
  24. Step 16 Use the tie wraps to secure the wires of the harness and stuff it back under the dash.
  25. Step 17 Arm the alarm and test its performance.

Front panel connectors/jacks is not working

OK--usually what you will find from the front is 3 connectors.
One will be a solid block that has one blank hole which is the key. That will plug into the corresponding pins on the motherboard--usually toward the back of the case.
There will be another other wire that terminates in two plastic connectors. These are the USB connectors. Sometimes the connectors are in two parts. One is a 3-hole and one is a 1-hole. Usually you will find two sets as they sort of go together.
The pin configuration on the motherboard looks like this ::::.
The single pin on the end is not used. The other ones are connected with the plastic connector on the first three starting at the left, with the end marked VCC to the left. The fourth pin is the ground which is usually the separate connector.
The second USB connectors are plugged in right next to the first--so each block of pins controls 2 USB ports.
Hope this helps.
