Question about HP LaserJet CM1017 MFP All-In-One Color Printer
Disconnect any usb or network cables and restart. If error returns then likely it is a problem with memory on the formatter or the formatter. If you have added memory, remove it and try restarting again. If printer comes to ready, then you have a corrupt print job or the firmware on the printer is old and needs to be updated. Make sure all print jobs are deleted and reconnect the printer and download the current firmware from HP.com and install it.
