What does the light flashing on a sunbeam electric blamket controller mean and why wont the blanket heat up

The flashing red light is designed to notify you in the event that
a problem has been discovered by flashing the light on the base unit.

Before resetting the unit. First, check the blanket/mattress
pad for visual damage.
If no visual damage is found, unplug the system from wall outlet.
Check that the base unit is well connected to the module. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. Set the base unit to "On." If the system still does not operate after two or three times trying to reset, disconnect the power cord and get it checked out by a specialist!

What is an emergency thermal blanket? Do I need one for my tent?

Emergency thermal blankets are insulated blankets that give protection in all-weather condition's. If you are going camping in your backyard then you don't need to get one, but if you are doing a proper camping trip and want to be well equipped, it's a sensible precaution to take one with you.

How to reset my sony mhc-gs100??? it keep saying power protect...

Your stereo went into protect mode to prevent complete failure of the amplifier inside that radio. Most of the time this happens from playing the stereo real loud for a real long time and it overheats. Most of the time disconnecting the receiver/stereo and letting it cool all the way down or at least 5 minutes and then reconnecting it to the power source will reset the protection mode. You want to make sure you are keeping the radio cool. Don't stack anything on top of it and try keeping a small fan blowing on it to expedite the heat out from the unit. Also turning it down every now and then to let everything cool down a bit will help prevent it from going into protection mode as well.

The HT-R510 unit's overheat protection kicked in

Hey there..Sorry.When the amps are over powered they blow the main circuit and short causing the amp to turn on the right back off to protect mode. That you will have to send in to get fix..Look behind the amp and see if theres any wires touching or grounding out.My favorite amps are from onkyo and believe me i've done this a few times to 5 aps I've had.So I up graded to the tx sr 906 It rocks and will blow every speaker I have before the amp will go..Hope this helps you and good luck..Have a great day...

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

The thermal protection would have reset when the amp cooled down. When cool, if it still goes into protection when it powers up, there are likely blown output transistors. To be sure it's not a wiring problem, disconnect the speaker wires 'from the terminal block of the amp' and disconnect the RCA cables from it. If it still goes into protection, the output transistors are almost certainly shorted.
