Abnormal color on screen even after trying a replacement screen.
Tried replacing screen and factory reset but still get abnormal green and red coloring. Think now it is video card problem going to try to diagnose that as well but need more guidence as where the problem lies. I theorize it may be the ribbon that runs from the display to the board but haven't tried that, plus it's a pain in the rear to do. Will attach picture.
Re: Abnormal color on screen even after trying a...
Do the external monitor work well? if yes is the cable from motherboard to screen; else is a gpu related problem. if the pc is being built in 2005-2007 years can be the "ros" problem (problem generated by the use of old soldiering machine with "ros" flux) no fix for that sorry.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

according to your observation we called abnormal picture & common mode choke coils are defective l3000,whech are near to LVDS connecter there are 3 coils & must change all coils after replacing these coils your set will ok
Depends on model number but if will not adjust in some area of screen the chips it uses are bad--not abnormal for the actual crosses to not be perfectly straight but the colors aligned to them should not be visable.
should check the RGB, check the heater voltage from Fly back to the
heater (CRT Tube), make sure there are about 5 VAC Voltage, if no damage
is usually there at 1 ohm resistors, other than that the damage can be
caused by any part of an abnormal color, RGB voltage not equal or one is weak or not functioning. in other words, the color Green or Red and Blue did not appear. consequently it will not appear on the screen image. the solution is to replace the CRT tube or CRT tube Recharge using special equipment recharging....
Since you have replaced the Color Wheel, it sounds like you have not adjusted the Index Delay in the service menu. First reset all of the picture settings you have adjusted back to original factory settings. Then on your Samsung TV Remote and with the TV OFF, Press Mute,Power,123. This will turn on the set and put you in the Service menu. Look for the top setting and select or scroll to the OPTION setting and select and look for INDEX DELAY and select that. Once you have the Index Delay selected use the right and left buttons on the remote to adjust for a picture the has no abnormal coloring and while looking at a program adjust for when the blacks look black with no abnormal coloring. Once that is done, turn off the set then turn the set back on. Now the picture should look normal.

if it's an xr-32x (as it shows on this pic), it's a dlp projector, not an lcd. therefore no green filter. it has only a colorwheel and a dmd chip to affect the color. if it's not an xr-32x, and it's an lcd projector, replace the green filter. sharp sells the parts for the optical engine. but if it was your service tech that did it, have them replace it.
