Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
The power button was broken so I opened the cabinet and manually turned the unit on by pressing the "On" button. It worked as i suspected it would but when i put it back together it didn't work. Any ideas? (My father used to be a radio and tv repairman. That was back in the '50s...)
Check the connection sockets. If you haven't connected the flat cable, that connect to panel board is not in the proper way, this could happen. As you reported here, when you taken out the panel board out, and switched it ON, it has worked; means, the set have no other fault. Ask your father to check this. He can understand it. Check for any minute breaks in the PCB [ control panel] too.
