I have a 1990 chevy cheyenne c2500. my brake lights, parking lights and blinkers arent working and when i try to replace the fuse,it blows immediatly. what could the problem be?

What is the amp rating on the fuse that keeps blowing? I looked at wiring for stop lamps, 15 amp fuse. Unplug connector for stop lamp switch, see if the fuse still blows? Also see if anything at connector looks burned or melted.

You could have problem with fuse box, itself. Look at back side of fuse box, see if anything looks burned or melted.

My slideout doesn't move, battery is new, changed inline fuse at battery, all other electrical seems to work

there is a momentary three way two pole rocker switch used to activate the linier motors that move the slide out. the most commin problem is they use a switch that dosen't have a high enough amp rating and the contacts burn out quickly. it is very importent to release the switch immediatly after the slide stops motion going in or out or these switches burn out very fast.

Kia sportage 2005 central locking fuse burn when replacing it. Where do I start to find the problem

Follow the wiring after the fuse. look for burnt wires. pinched wires, failed locking solenoid wire to earth some where. Remember that the wire you are following will be live up to the point it earths out and over loads the fuse. Check all lock solenoids or the point where the wires go from the body to the door.

The brake light fuse burns out immediatly when we press the brakes. brake lights not working.

Sounds like you have a short in the wiring for your brake lights unfortunately this on of those things that you have to take to an auto electric shop. Good luck some times those problems can be pricey.

Why my headlight willl not work change the bulbs and they still wil not work what is the problem

most likely the fuse for tht particular headlight has popped or blown if so you will have to replace tht fuse...you will have to look at your fuse box and look up tht side headlight if not both headlight fuse and replace the fuse...after that your lights should work

Transformer

what you need to do is isolate the loads that are on the transformer and put a amp meter on the transformer and read the amps while you put the loads on one at a time. the one that spikes is the one thats bad. You can put a inline fuse in to protect the transformer. A 3 AMP fusw qould be good for a 75 va transformer if its a 50 va you would need a 2 ampo fuse.
