Question about Numatic Vacuums

1 Answer

My Numatic George will switch on for dry vacuuming but not at all for wet. I've only had it a few months. Any ideas?

Making sure machine assembled correctly. Power is getting to the machine as it switches on when I press the dry button but when I press the wet button nothing happens.

Numatic gve370 canister wet/dry motor gone noisy

Try blowing out the motor housing with commpressed air through the cooling vents as it is running, if that dont quiet it down it may be the bearings are dry and need to be oiled, use 20w 3 in 1 oil in the blue container.

Hi.

No the switch for the pump will work without main vacuum switched on.
Your problem could either be faulty pump switch or faulty pump,
You should be able to get spares relatively easy from any independant vacuum repair shop.
Dont try currys etc they wont have a clue what your talking about.
