Filters must be the right size for each lens. For example the 18-105mm kit lens that comes with most D-90 kits uses a 67mm filter. They thread into the main lens. It is always safer to put a clear or UV filter on your camera lens to protect the expensive lens glass. You can thread another type of lens onto it as easily as you can your base lens. Be sure and do not force a threaded lens filter onto your lens or you will damage the expensive lens. It should thread on easily and do not over tighten it.

How do i attach the my zeikos 52mm HD Dslr MC AF 2x telephoto lens to my nikon d90?

You don't. The Zeikos attaches to the front of lens with a 52mm filter thread, which then attaches to the D90. If you have the 18-55mm lens, for example, this will fit onto the front of that lens, effectively converting it to a 36-110mm lens. If you have the 18-105mm lens, this won't fit onto it.
This device is really intended for use with cameras that don't have interchangeable lenses. With your D90, you're much better off using another lens instead of putting this onto the front of another lens.

Tamron 14mm 2.8 does not work on d90

This lens is compatible with your Nikon D90 according to this site:

http://lenshero.com/lens/Tamron-14mm-f2.8-IF-Nikon-f-lens

Your complaint "does not work" is rather broad, so I don't know what specific kind of problem(s) your having with it.

If you continue to have issues with it, make sure other lenses work on your D90 to eliminate the body as the source of the problem. Consider performing a 2 button reset on the D90 (and resetting any other customized settings to defaults) and try again. If it still "doesn't work" then contact Tamron to evaluate the lens for possible repair.

Good luck!

Is Nikon D90 camera compatable to use on below mentioned lens

Yes. The lens will autofocus and meter properly on the D90. Be aware that the D90's DX sensor will give you the same field of view that a 105-315mm lens would give you on a 35mm film camera.

I have a Soligor C/D 28 - 200 mm, f3.5 - 5.3 Macro lens used quiet well on a Minolta XG1 and want to know whether I can use it on a Nikon D90 DSLR and if so, where can I source an adapter. Is it worth the...

The lense will probably work with an adapter. try ebay. i purchased one for my canon lenses for macro work. note that the focal length of the nikon is 46.5 and the minolta is 43.5 and infinity will not work with out an adapter with a correcting lense. you will find a adapter with out a lense will work fine for macro.

I have an old Minolta 5000Af with a quantaray 70-300 af lens on it. Is there anything to make this compatible with the new nikon d90?

In a word, no. If the Quantaray lens fits on the Minolta, then it has a Minolta mount. A lens requires a Nikon mount to fit on a Nikon D90. The two mounts are not interchangeable.

Now, if it was an ancient Quataray manual-focus lens with a T-mount adapter, then all you would need is a Nikon T-mount adapter to replace the Minolta T-mount adapter...

WILL THIS MODEL JELL WELL WITH THE NIKON 50mm LENSES (NORMAL) & OTHER BRANDS OF 50mm LENSES (NORMAL) THAT IS WITH NIKON D90 DSLR

Hello,
The Nikon D90 works well with the Nikon AF 50mm lenses and most other brand Nikon fit AF lenses. If they are not AF you will lose autofocus and metering.
Do you know that on the D90 the lens becomes a 75mm but the aperture stays the same, so for instance the 50mm f/1.8 is a 75mm f/1.8.

Tele converter option for Tamron 28-75mm f2.8

This is a lens for Sony/Minolta cameras. It is not compatible with the Nikon D90. Hence a Teleconverter for Nikon will not work on this lens to mount it to a Nikon D90.

Lense will not work with SLR Nikon D90

This lens is too old for the D90, it has not got the electronics for metering and autofocus.
You can use it manually in M mode but you will have to set the aperture and shutter yourself.
The D90 manual has a section on compatible lenses, page 228 in my version.
This recommends CPU lenses for the D90, type G and D.

Compare the Nikon d80 to the new d90. Can I use all my manual focus lenses from my Nikon film cameras? Also, all my filters and flashes.

All old lenses will work on the D90 the same way they work on the D80. Filters depend on the lens -- they either fit or they don't -- the camera has nothing to do with that. I wouldn't use old flashes on new DSLRs.

There really is no difference between the D80 and the D90 as far as lenses and flashes are concerned.
