Question about Craftsman Garden
Took ohv cover of just looking all looks good I'm stuck
Governor for the carburetor . Remove the nut from the top of the air breather. Remove the air filter. Place them where they are not going to get too dirty. Remove the spark plug wire and the spark plug. Smell of threads if strong smell of fuel . Set aside for a while. Looking down into the carburetor move the throttle cable lever. If you can see the choke open and close freely .check the spark plug gap. Should be .040 reinstall spark plug. Looking at the side of the carburetor the will be a screw with a little rod that is going to the engine. There's a small plate attached to another rod see if it moves free if so go back to the screw adjust it in til stops. Don't try forcing the screw past it's stopping point them loosen the same screw 3/4 turn. That's it. Starting the engine it should run smoothly if not replace the spark plug.
