That probably means that your just in an area that doesnt have a good wi-fi connection, or your trying to connect to an access point that you set up in another location.

After downloading the software just double click on it and follow the onscreen instructions to install it.

What he means is:
Go to the start menu in your PC/Laptop and click Run.
Type regedit in the box and press enter.
When the regeditor pops up, in the left pane click
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then open these by using the + boxes
Comm, then TNETWLN1, then Parms

If they are all there, in the right hand pane you should see the other bits:
HTCPreloaded status" =dword:0000001
'HTCPreloaded wifi" =dword:0000001

If they are there you need to change them to look like the ones he posted. To change them you right click on them and click Modify. When you have changed them to match, click OK and exit regedit.
