Question about Cell Phones
Depends on the phone. Most, if not all, Smartphones have GPS these days. If it's not a Smartphone then it almost certainly doesn't.
Usually you can't actually shut it off, but you can go into settings/options. look for something like Location Services, and try to stop your apps from using Location Services.
