Question about Dishwashers

Open Question

My siemens sd11tt1s dishwasher won't start.. just bought it, he said it worked and i believe him. No matter what program, the machine just start, take in water, does nothing in general(something perhaps i don't know), waits for 5-10min then pumps the water out again.. Have checked water is on, cabels and pipes aren't blocked, used to be another machine before so the "setup" works, theres nothing in the filter... Can't find a manual.. and last.. there's always a red light on the right bottom corner in the front, pointing at the floor

SOURCE: error code AO1

Error message A01 means -Acqua stop operated due to a leak or overfill. Check if there is still water in the machine after it stop pumping. In case you still have water - your problem is with the pump or with a blockage drain line. If there is no water in the machin, it might be a water level sensor issue - stuck physically in the high level position or become defective. Try to reduced the water presure and leveled it up by the water entrance tap to the machine, it might solve your problem. Goog luck !!

SOURCE: Leaking water on floor during drain cycle

First the source of the leak needs to be identified. pull the machine out from under the counter and remove the left side panel exposing the blue float assembly. Turn the machine on and observe the fill cycle. if water comes out anywhere on the fill mechanism then the inlet valve needs to be replaced. once the machine has filled and begun to cycle cancel the program and drain the unit. observe closly where the leak is happening. a leak during drain usually indicated a leaking drain hose.

Dishwashers tend to get stuck on wash cycle if the water temperature is not reaching the level the wash program expects it to reach. This could be due to faulty heater or thermostat or both.

One test is to run the dishwasher on a rinse cycle (normal water temperature) and see if it completes it.
Refer this site for location and cost of heater and thermostat

I need siemens dishwasher model SL34A016UC/29 manual We moved into a house with the dishwasher already in the house. I used it once and the water won't drain, and they never left the manual. If you...

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a dish-washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Hello, i have a Siemens Dishwasher SE25202EP/01 with aquastop system, when i start any program no water is ejected inside the machine.Could you help me???? Pleeeease?!

It's possible that the Aqua-Stop flood protection system has been activated. I can probably help you, but I really need more information.

1. When you start a wash program, can you hear the pump running? - This will be a low pitch humming sound.
2. There is a dome/mushroom shaped plastic protrusion in the bottom of the washing compartment, located behind and between the salt compartment cap and the drain. Can you lift this up (be gentle) or is it already up and can only be pushed down?

Please post this information and I will try to assist you further.
