Question about Roku 1
New batteries in remote Checked all connections, nothing has been unplugged Able to get Netflix on iPad Green light on front of receiver comes on green when button is pushed on the remote Afraid to push the Reset button, book states it should rarely be used
There is a good chance the remote is defective. You may try installing Netflix from the channel store and and using it like other channels. The other thing would be to uninstall Netflix and then reinstall it. It is possible the info for login is corrupt or the Netflix contact on the remote is bad. Hitting the reset button should not cause any harm but will restore the remote to it's original state. If you know someone with another Roku, any model , try that remote to prove it. Good Luck!
