Sounds like they gave you a subscription charge, which is usually the case. The best action you can take is to cancel Amazon Prime and it is possible to get a full refund. Hopefully this helps.

Why do I have a 11.76 charge for Amazon Prime Membership when I never signed up for it?

We are Fixya, we are not Amazon.

Log into your account and see what the $11.76 is for. It seems an odd amount for Prime membership. Prime is $79 CDN, so $6.58 a month. When you last purchased something, the is a check box asking if you want a free trial of Prime. You had to uncheck it. It also links in to getting Free Delivery, and it is easy to mistake the Free Delivery for subscribing to the Amazon Prime Trial. You cancel Amazon Prime from within your account.

To cancel an Amazon Prime free trial, click Do not continue. Note: If you don't cancel your Amazon Prime free trial, you will automatically continue to a paid membership at the end of the trial period. You can find this date listed on the left-hand side of the Manage Your Prime Membership page.

I've got a charge on my debit card for amazion prime for 11.99 i didn't purchase anything

Sorry but 'Fixya' can't fix it. Have you contacted Amazon? You should inquire and follow up on this. Could it possibly be an eBay purchase billed thru Amazon? I know I was upset when I saw on my paypal statement a payment to Amazon when I had never purchased from them, but turned out an eBay seller I'd purchased from had items listed thru amazon. I just thought I'd mention this Good Luck hope you get it worked out I certainly wouldn't pay for something I didn't get

HAVE A PRIME MEMBERSHIP BEING CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. NEED TO FIND OUT WHOSE IT IS FOR AND CANCEL.

Normally on your bank or credit statement the transaction will show a number to contact for such charges. That's how you can contact the company and figure out who charged the account or you can contact your bank or credit card company to dispute transaction

I'm billing billed on my credit card for amanzon prime

If you see a charge on your credit card from Amazon Prime, the first question I have is did you order something from them? If you did, have you received it? If you didn't, there are a couple of things to do. First I would call Amazon Prime, here is the customer service contact page off their website.
www.amazon.ca/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=gw_m_b_he?ie=UTF8&nodeId=915404
call them and make sure the item on your credit card statement was not ordered by you or someone in your family, Christmas is around the corner. There should be a reference number on your statement to track the purchase transaction. Talk to them. If you didn't do the transaction they should know, they will be able to see if this seller is putting through a lot of fraudulent credit card purchases and if so shut them down. The next thing you will then have to do is call your credit card company and tell them your card information has been compromised. Check to ensure no other fraudulent transactions have been completed. The credit card company will have to cancel your card and send you a replacement, which will probably take 2 weeks to receive. The 1 800 number for the credit card customer service will be on the back of the card.
Good luck

I was charged for Amazon Prime on my credit card.. I never ordered it and I would like to call someone.

There is a phone number on your bank statement for Amazon Prime. I have paperless statements so I just went to my on line bank statement and hey there it was. It happened to me also. They will refund, usually as a one time gesture of good faith. Sometimes it's ordered by accident. It takes a while to get it back to your account though, just a heads up.

Please advise why my credit card has been charged 79.00 10/12/14 reference on statement 50360000010027900.00 I do not have any idea what this amount is for! Marlene

Hi
Amazon have run several free trial periods for Amazon Prime which has certain benefits, and at the end of the trial period they charge the annual fee, £79, to a registered card, unless you cancel within the trial period.
You can find out more about it by going here:
Amazon co uk Help Amazon Prime

You do not need to sign in to Amazon for this but you will have to to Manage Your Prime Account, if you wish to cancel Amazon Prime membership.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
