Question about DeLonghi Ovens

Open Question

Dear technician, I have just moved into a terraced house with what appears to be a new Delonghi 6 burner free standing cooker. I think it has dual gas. Anyway I turned the oven on and went back around 20 minutes later to find it off. There is no clock and assuming no electric supply to the cooker (house is fine and no trips caused). The oven therefore now does not work because there is no electric supply. I am unable to have a look at the back end (2 heavy to lift with 1 person) Any suggestions? blown fuse? problem with the cooker electrics?

SOURCE: small electric kenmore oven

sounds like youve shaken or loosened one of the power leads into the oven, check the circuit breakers first, make sure they have not tripped, if not turn off hte breaker and remove the back panel of the stove youre only getting half power to the unit doesnt sound like anything magor at all

SOURCE: DeLonghi EOF260 tripping the circuit breaker

It is probably an element that is causing the trouble, as it gets hotter, the insulation resistance breaks down, and if there is a weak spot or hot spot it causes the trip to operate.
I'm afraid it is a question of elmination, trying different functions, until you isolate the problem.

Is this gas or electric? If it is electric, you will want to test the power to the burners with a voltmeter. This will tell you if the control is bad and not giving power to the burner, or if the burners themselves are bad or possibly just loose or corroded connections.
If you have gas, check the gas valve and the tubing. Make sure there are no holes or gaps letting out the gas, make sure the valves is completely up to allow full gas flow. Also check that the tubing is clean of debris.

My son needs a manual for a Jackson Topline cooker, which has an automatic oven, warming drawer. Hw has just moved into a new house and cooker has to be turned off at main switch or it heats up when it...

Had a two Jackson topline cookers for the past 31 years I think the timer is on auto that is why the oven is heating up its self. Look at the clock there will be 3 bottons push in the one that is marked auto that should set the oven back to manual for you. Hope that this helps

I just installed one in my house. I found that when you start the lower (gas) oven you need to turn the dial all the way on to 500*, push the knob in (you should hear the igniters clicking), then even when you see flames coming out of the burner, continue the ignition for 10 to 15 seconds. It should continue to stay lit thereafter.

DeLonghi Debige 2440 Electric/Gas Double Oven Fan Failure Light

I had the very same problem. I slid the oven out of the wall about 6" or so, unplugged it, plugged it back in. It worked. I'm not sure if I jostled some connection, or if unplugging/repluging it in reset some sort of circuit fault.

Delonghi professional dfs903 cooker

have a Delonghi dual fuel DTC90DF range.
The oven has been temperamental for a whil, working then clicking off so that you had to turn it on again and it would work for a while again. Eventually there was a bit of smoke coming through the hob and it smelt of electrical burning and stopped working all together. It is the main fan oven that is now not working.
Please help
