My Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine WMA58P will not empty.

Recheck your electrical connections. Check for power reaching the pump with a suitable tester. If there is no power then it might be the controller or that it might not be requesting the pump to operate.
Be patient...

No power

Obviously something electrical. Check for interlock switches - door closed, water overflow, etc. Check for power at the power supply "mains in" and output. Voltage regulator on PS board?
I'm told that these machines are worth repairing and can last 20 years or more with proper maintenance, so they're a good investment.
Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm just sharing some possible things to search for.

My washing machine stopped working in the middle of a wash. i checked the plug and fuse - no problem; electrical oulet - no problem. what do i do next?

If it will try and restart the wash if it stops in same spot new timer time. If you cant do anything but there is power of some sort check the switch where the door closes theres usually a plastic piece that presses this switch down make sure its still intact.

Washing machine will not turn on.

Hi just read your posting.Have you checked the power point for power with a toaster or hair dryer? If there is power to the machine then there are 2 reasons why it is not powering up.1st-- the drain pump is open circuit 2nd the control module is faulty.1st empty the machine by hand so you can look underneath the machine by tipping it back far enough to see the pump. Now the pump will either have a red or black fan on it ,or you will see no fan and that means you have the new style pump.please reply with the type of pump you have and if you have or can borrow an electrical test meter and i can guide you step by step to find out if the pump is faulty or the controller or both.

My washing stopped working mid cycle. I checked

the timer is probably sticking (needs replacement) or lid safety switch stuck open. try restarting the load and if stops at the same place it is the timer unit, if it fills up with water and than stops - lid switch.
