While assembling the seat we loosened the bolt to adjust the seat angle and the pipe fell into the bike frame.

Turn your bike upside down, it should fall out. If that doesn't work turn it upside down and tap on the frame that should make it come right out.

I have no low beam lights

Most likely the dimmer relay. Follow headlight wires back to a small box on usually inside passenger side fender. This should be what is called a flip flop relay. This relay receives a momentary pulse from the dimmer switch on the steering column. This relay may be located elsewhere. You may be able to google images for your vehicle and "dimmer relay" you may get lucky and find a picture of it and it's location and perhaps the wiring diagram.

Hi, i have a 2004 pontiac vibe..overnite the head lights went out but the high beams work?? Checked fuses all look good???

Must be cold weather "eats" headlight dimming relay switch. Trace wires from headlamps to a small relay box. If it's a cold weather problem. I'd carefully try a hair dryer on it. See if it helps. If not, It needs to be changed. But it could also be a ground to the frame problem. Possible but not likely the wire from the Steering column dimming switch to the relay is a contact or wire break, or the switch itself. The dimming relay switch is a "flip flop" switch with momentary power or signal to the relay to change from low to high and back. If there is a problem in this signal wire or connection you may be able to jumper from the battery positive to the signal input wire momentarily to change from high to low.

Flip flop string torn from the base typical flip flop problem but they are only 1 year old.

The problem could be multiple things. One your feet may be too big for the shoes putting stress on the flip flop string, even though I doubt that it the problem, but a possibility. Two you may be over wearing them or in what is considered rough conditions, also usually not the case. Finally the shoes aren't made properly or well enough. Anyway with the first problem, you just need a bigger size. The second problem get shoes that can handle your everyday or also with the third problem you can repair the shoes. You can try to repair the shoes before they break or after. If they are cloth like then things like hot glue can be effective or using string like this website shows click here to see. If it is a rubber flip flop then you can also use glue or try what this website shows, just click here. Hope that helps.

96 monte carlo rear window brake light works but not brake lights. tail lights work, blinkers work, replaced brake switch and bulbs still not working

This is a common GM specific problem. Your turn signal switch contains an elaborate networking device that has to cancel brakelights while running a turn light. Often times the ground within the turn signal switch is lost causing your situation. After investigating such other possibilities as fuses and loose grounds it may become necessary to replace the turn signal switch. Thank you, Dana
