Is there supposed to be something moving inside of oil window when running

It needs more oil on the reverse mechanism (inside the machine)

If there is no oil in the cylinder head, it'll break down (pardon the expression) into a few possibilities:

1. There isn't any oil to pump: Check oil levels with dip stick and top off/service as needed.
2. Nothing is moving oil up into the cylinder head. Oil pump may be shot. Diagnosing the finer details or how to repair that go above my ability to deliver detailed advice.
3. Oil is there and being pumped, but can't move. Oil filter could be way overdue for service and is clogged. Or something else has gunked up or broken and is keeping the oil from flowing where it's supposed to.

Determining a few of these can at least narrow down what the likely problem is. Fortunately, if it's not the oil pump, then the odds of a not-too-expensive fix might be fairly good - an oil and filter change might be all that's needed.

Gm used the oil pressure switch to provide fuel pump power once the vehicle was running and oil pressure was up on the older models

There are several causes for this. The most likely--if you have been using and oiling your machine periodically--is you have threads wound around something inside. You can take off the cover to take a look, and generally that would be the back cover first. If you don't find anything, AND you have oiled with SEWING MACHINE OIL ONLY the parts you are supposed to oil, depending on the machine that you have (check your user's manual), you might have a bad bearing, which will require service from a repair facility.

oil light shows no pressure warning...should be lit whenever the motor isn't running.
If you look closely at the right side of the window there are 2 lines cast into the engine casing...these are min and max level lines. Best to run it just under the top one...

Check the installation paperwork and see if it says anything about it. Heaters have been coated with oil in the heat exchanger to prevent rusting. Sometimes a heater will be produced in the year 2010 for example, but doesnt sell until 1 or 2 and maybe 3 years later after that. So it might sit in the warehouse for a long time. The oil will help the metal from corrision. The installer is suppose to tell you that when you first turn on the unit, it will smell like burning (oil). Open the doors and some windows until the smell goes away. (15 to 30 minutes) This is normal. Now if the smell wont go away maybe something fell inside and is burning!!! RuNNNN!!! no may have to open it up to check... rare case

If the Comet Pressure Pump Oil is some kind of a
Synthetic Oil that supposed to be extra effecient than
an ordinary oil, then that will cost extra. If that is ordinary multi grade engine oil (SAE 20 - 40), then, you
can buy over the counter. Most synthetic oil have additive that give extra longer life to all moving parts.

Your motor is pooched. Oil is not supposed to come out the exhaust. It indicates a worn out motor or something broken inside like a piston or compression rings. Or possibly someone has put half a gallon of oil in it instead of half a quart and it's well overfilled?

There is a small helix gear attached to the shaft of the main drive motor. It cracks or shreads on the inside. You will have to replace the main motor. Not real expensive or difficult to replace.

run a small amount of oil acrossed the blades. if they dry out, the blades will quit moving.
