Touch screen not sensitive at all

the screen itself needs to be replaced or the digitizer for it.. in either case it needs to be repaired by a professional as it will need to be checked first by switching the parts to determine which one is at fault before replacing it. unless you plan on buying both it will be cheaper to have it repaired in a local shop.

White subjects show up pink

you may have the "white balance" set up to "manual mode" .. this allows you tp place a grey card or object in front of the camera and calibrate white balance (see manual for procedure) .. thats a good thing for pros but might just be confusing for most people .. in the menu you can set "white balance" to "automatic" and that should take care of it ..

This is more the scale costs.

Moral of the story. Don't buy Tanita.

What is the function of the custom white balance setting?

Custom setting mode allows a user to calibrate the camera to a specific light condition. Color reproduction may be inadequate with preset white balance settings in mixed lighting condition or when critical control is needed. You can calibrate the camera's white balance to the specific light condition (color temperature) so that the lighting of the selected area is neutral.
