Grounding problem?

Hi there, my audio system was working like a dream until about a month ago. My subwoofers kick in and out of performance whenever they feel like it and when they kick in or you change the radio station they will pop as if it were surging.

I have checked the ground wires and fuses, the amp tells me there is power but no protection....

any ideas?
