Windsor S12 vacuum handle release not working pushed up handle won't pull out anyway to fix or adjust ?

Information and spares diagrams. You would have to disassemble and find the reason, but probably a spring became unhitched.

How to remove lever

There have been at least 2 different versions of the 7590C... on one version there's a plug on the 'back' (180 degrees from the handle) that covers a horizontal set screw, and on another version there's a cap on top that pries off and covers a vertical mounting screw.

User manual - http://moen.com/shared/docs/instruction-sheets/ins801l.pdf

Parts diagram - http://moen.com/shared/docs/exploded-parts-views/7590cpt.pdf

In this case, the parts diagram should clue you into which version you have better than the user manual does.

How do i disassemble my hoover f7220

Hi there! The tanks, brushes, nozzle and handle can be removed from the cleaner by following these quick steps below.

1. To remove the clean water tank simply grasp the handle and push down on handle to unlock it, then pull the tank out by the handle.
2. To remove the dirty water tank, slide the latches open located on the sides of the cleaner that hold the tank to the base of the cleaner. Grasp the handle and pull up and off.
3. For brush removal, with the handle in the upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Grab brush assembly and pull firmly.
4. To remove the nozzle, with handle in upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Pull tab at rear edge of nozzle and pull forward to remove nozzle.
5. For handle removal simply remove the handle screw and lift up on handle.

Disassembly beyond this point is not recommended. Hope this helps!

My mother's Bissell 66t6 has a tear in the hose very near the handle. I'd like to remove all of the duct tape she put there and disassemble the handle so that I could shorten the hose by a few inches at...

I can't say for sure without seeing your model but this can. E done on most vacuums as long as it doesn't have electric wires to run a power nozzle. Some hoses simply unscrew from the fitting and some have an extra connector. The easiest way if it won't easily come out by twisting the hose counter-clockwise is to cut the hose at the bad spot and pull on the hose and it will come apart so you can remove it. Sometimes they have glue or silicone holding them in but if you pull you should be able to remove the old hose and screw the good part back in.

Repairing contacts in Electrolux Z8240 handle

Hi There, Alec From VacuumSpot here. I work as a vacuum technician and unfortunately I am the bearer of bad news the handle is not really repairable. Even in warranty Electrolux allowed us to simply swap the hose over in favour of any repair. If you need to buy a new Z8240 hose the part number is 1131404541.

Handle got hot, circuit breaker was activated, now switch does not start vacuum

Hello. The cause of your hot handle must be investigated as you have a bare wire or connector which is shorting out. If you are handy, disassemble the handle assembly and look for melted rubber, a bare wire touching metal, etc. The fix is to replace the bad wire. Regards. Joe

Disassembling to ship

Hi, my name is Jon I am a former Kirby salesman and I own an Ultimate G and I know this machine inside and out. First take the cord out of the clips on the back of the handle.

Second at the bottom of the handle there is a grey rubber button that says "push" and you will push it and pull up on the handle. The handle should come right out.

Then what you want to do to take the bag off is push the clip that the bag is connected to and pull the bag out.

That's all you have to do I hope this helps you and good luck!
