With the power off, try holding down the up volume button and the power power button. After it starts up with something appearing on the screen then release and this may get you to the factory restore option menu.

My Kocaso tablet screen not working but lights are going red and then green.

Question edited for clarity and spelling.

Try doing a Soft Reset and if that doesn't work, a Hard Reset. The both are initiated from the same screen.

How to factory reset Kocaso SX9701 tablet lost password and cant get through screen lock

There is nothing in the manual.

If you set a pass code (or pattern) that you cannot remember, please enter the wrong password (10-20 times) until you are prompted to sign in via your google account. Please note, this will only work if you have already setup your google account on the tablet. If you have not set up a Google (or Gmail) account on the tablet, you will have to perform a firmware install, which will revert the tablet back to factory settings.

I push the power button the kocaso screen comes on and tells you injoy colorful life and then goes to a screen that said android for five or six seconds and then shuts off well it does not shut off it...

I used this link and found it had a 50/50 chance of working...

I know it's not for your exact model, but manufacturers often have the same method of hard reset for all of their devices. Specifically:

"The button to hold down is the menu button next to the home button. With it powered on hold down tthe menu and power buttons until it goes off, then release the power button and then hold it again while holding the menu button. An android with an exclamation and triangle will appear. Tap the power button and the menu for reset or updates appears. Select factory restore and follow instructions then select reboot at next screen and you`re done."
Hope it helps u too
