White glue is good but the pieces will need to be held tightly together for at least 12 hours and more would be better up to about 24 hours. Any excess that runs out can be easily wiped away with a wet cloth etc.

Kitchen drawer, particle board repair.

It is far better to replace the drawer front altogether. Glues and adhesives actually make particle board swell and cause it to disintegrate so if it is splitting there is no sound way to glue it back together and retain any structural integrity. I suggest taking the drawer to a local cabinet maker and have them repair it by duplicating and replacing damaged pieces.

We have a Back To Basics popcorn popper that has a broken piece. The piece is the clear see-through plastic top. Where can we find a new piece?

West Bend took over this company and no longer provides plastic window replacements. I fixed mine by super gluing the window and attaching a small strip of wood on top of the 2 plastic window pieces with small bolts (super glue pieces so wood can be properly attached because glue alone will not hold up to the heat). Not attractive but it works. (West Bend rep told me windows break because of high heat, but I only used mine over medium heat; I think they break at the spot where the raised lid hits the gear mechanism holder.)

How do i replace a broken wiper lever on the steering column of my 2002 Honda Odyssey van?

You can try using super glue jell to glue it back together cost's a $1.00 and if you can get two ice cream sticks to go in the place where it is broken you can cut the sticks to fit and glue then on each side of the broken area on the side where you push up or down. this is a temp fix but can work if you do it right. If you can't get a ice cream stick then try to find a piece of plastic tubing and make it about 1/2 long before and after the break and then apply super glue to the plastic and slide it over the lever and push the two broken pieces together and slide the plastic tubing over it and hold it in place for a couple of minutes once it has set up for 1/2 try it to see if it works. if it holds you got it made if not the professional way is to replace the switch assembly. let me know if you need more help. I gave you the back yard way to do it but if you want to replace it post to the e-mail you get and let me know and I will give you detailed information to replace the arm. It requires three tool you may not have but can rent at most auto stores.

Two pieces of my wood laminate flooring came undone and it is in the middle of a 25X25 room is there anyway to fix that with out taking the whole floor apart. one piece is higher than the other so i need...

If you can get the toungue and groove to go back together and force the two pieces back down flat, you might consider nailing it down with a couple of small brads and then setting and filling the nail holes.
Sometimes it is possible to cut part of the tongue off one piece if the tongue is damaged and won't engage smoothly, but leave enough to keep the piece interlocked with its mate. You can cut it with a sharp utility knife by making repeated cuts.
Mask off the finished area adjacent so you don't damage it.
But why did it come up in the first place? Is it installed too tightly in the room, so that expansion due to changes in humidity has caused it to buckle?
You may need to address the underlying cause for any repair you do to last...
I hope this helps to shed a little light on a difficult situation....

Glue Gun Support

Plug the glue gun into an electrical outlet. Make sure it is placed in a secure place, away from flammable items. As the glue gun heats up, a little bit of glue might drip from the end so you won’t want to leave it on a wood table or on carpet. Insert a glue stick into the back of the glue gun. If the glue gun already has a glue stick in the chamber, keep a second one in reserve nearby. Gather the materials you want to glue together. Hot glue works exceptionally well on thick fabrics, dried flowers, Styrofoam, wood and plastics. Since it leaves a thicker residue, it is not the best choice for thin papers, fabrics and ceramics. Check to see if the glue in the gun has melted by squeezing the trigger slightly and touching the tip to a test piece of paper. If the glue comes out easily, the glue gun has heated up fully. If the trigger is hard to pull, wait a minute more for the gun to heat more completely. Pick up the glue gun and squeeze the trigger slightly while you draw a thin line on one side of the item to be glued. Immediately place the other object to be glued on the glue line, pressing firmly. Hold the two pieces together for about 15 seconds. Test to see if the item still holds when you remove one hand. Let the item set for a few minutes in order to “cure.” Once the glue has dried fully, use a fingernail to scrape away any of the excess glue.

The on button seems to be stuck down on my sony cybershot

The button is made of plastic an one of the tabs i probably broken. If you have the skills to take your camera apart, you can fix it yourself. You can go to the YetiCam.com site, under manuals select Sony DSC-S600 Version 2 (Updated 2/17/07). This will tell you how to take the camera apart. Then you need to take some Super Glue and glue the two pieces back together. Be carful not to put too much glue on the pieces, or the switch will glue itself to the other pieces in the switch cover. Here are a couple of shots of the underside of the cover showing the switch piece. Red circles show the weak points.99f3da3.jpg7325b53.jpg
