Is it connected to a good outlet. If so check where the power comes in, if it is not there you have a bad line cord.

We just had a power outage and the door flashes 88 -88 with no controls responding

Had the same problem when hurricane Irene took the power out. Contacted Samsumg and they sent a repair man out that told me that this is a common problem and that it would cost $600 to repair my less than 3 year old refrigerator. He said it's the mother board, planning on trying to replace it myself.

Can't find temp control food is getting freezer burn

I clicked on the below links to find your manual.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/RFG297AARS/XAA

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/RFG297AARS/XAA

There are 2 links for manuals on the 2nd link above
(13.53 mb english and spanish) with file name DA68-01820A_v1.3.pdf)
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201104/20110428084005272/DA68-01820A_v1.3.pdf
The first one is the quick guide (pretty much useless)

Electronic control from outside of Pantry Cover (Left side)
Adjustable temperature control ((around 41F(5C):Deli /around 38F(3C) : Fresh / around 34F(1C) Chilled) Temperature control from outside of the Pantry : user friendly design helps keep foods fresh for longer.

If adjusting the temp to a wamer temp does not correct the problem you may have an air damper or thermistor problem. You must allow 8 - 12 hours between temp changes to know what the stabilized adjusted temp result is.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
