Have you tried descaling the machine? You can get a descaler in the super market. That works for me.

No steam from nozzle

If their is steam pressure in the boiler them the number one problem is a blockage even if you think this is not the problem. The blockage is likely to be in the steam pipe and is likely to be a bit of scale,,, I would try removing the steam pipe and unscrew the jet from the end then attempt to blow through both the jet and the pipe separately,,, to locate the source of any blockage. If you find a blockage soak the part in a strong solution of citric acid overnight or longer. A strong vinegar may also soften the scale then you should be able to clear it with a long fine piece of wire.

Good luck with getting it sorted!

Milk Steamer/Frother

Take off the end bit; it unscrews. Poke a needle through the hole; I find it gets blocked quite regularly. While it's disconnected turn the knob on the right. Steam should come out. If it doesn't there is a blockage inside the machine and you need to get inside it to fix it. But the only blockage I've had is in the end bit.

Steam nozzle not working

Check the end of the steam valve, if that is not blocked, check where the wand connects to the valve, on some models they inserted a teflon piece that was supposed to hep the machine with steaming but that gets blocked, remove and throw away.

No milk,or steam coming from cappucinno nozzle

If you pull the cappacino component off. The black plastic thing at the end of the metal tube (where the cappacino component's attached to) can be unscrewed by rotating it with your hand. You can clean it with a brush and a thick needle to clean the hole the make sure that it's not blocked. After that just screw it back on and reattach the cappacino component.

STEAMER NOT WORKING - Hi my francis coffee machine is having problems with steaming.  Everything else works apart from getting steam/froth.  I have descaled it lots but still not working.  What can I do?

Hi again, I looked at some other posts on this site and tried soaking the steam wand in a cup of boiling water with a cap of vinegar in it.   I left it about 20 minutes and it worked very well.   My problem was just that the wand was blocked with dried milk on the inside.  I'll make sure to run water through after steaming milk in future .....
